Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
Abbreviated wheels are mathematically designed to arrange a group of numbers into lines that guarantees secondary prizes. The logic of using a 3 if 3 wheel is to match 3 of the numbers and have a 3 number match. There is also the possibility of matching 4 or 5 numbers and having more 3 number matches, a 4 number match and/or a 5 number match. Logic is mostly a 'if this then that scenario. The logic is the conditions we set and the math is what we should expect by meeting the conditions.

Post your scratch ticket results
I got a huge surprise this weekend. I bought a $2.00 5x cash. I usually don't buy these because of the winning odds. But I bought a $3 ticket and had $2 left in the machine. So I thought what the hey. Took them home and I always scratch the the top before the dollar amounts. Scratch it off - got one lucky symbol. I was suprised being it seems thses are few and far between. Scratch next one, number. Thought oh well maybe the one lucky will be decent. Scratched off next, another lucky symbol

N.C. farmer wins record lottery jackpot
It's also his second time winning a Cash 5 jackpot A farmer from Zebulon, North Carolina, won more than $1.1 million in the Carolina Cash 5 jackpot on Sunday the largest amount ever won by a single ticket in that game. It was the second time that Homer Buffaloe has hit the Cash 5 jackpot. In November 2010, he claimed half a jackpot worth $408,066. This time, Buffaloe received a check for $778,479 after state and federal taxes were withheld. The odds of matching all five numbers and w

Texas: 3/1 - 3/31/2013
I hope so too Al. I think it is possible to do this. Just have to track the numbers by pairs. I don't mean by tracking what 2 digits appear together with what two digits either. I treat the 2 digits that appear in a pair like a Pick 3 draw. I add a constant 0 to the equation and enter the 3 digits in my Pick 3 database. This gives me a 1 in 100 Odds of coming up with the digits that play. If the 0 is one of the 2 digits I enter 00x. I know I will always have at least a 1 digit repeat (that be

Rigged lotteries
I'm not sure I get this post/poll- Why is it so OUTRAGEOUS to think that where there is LARGE sums of money (cash specifically) involved, and politicians running the show ultimately, that there is not only the possibility but the likelihood (given how many different lotteries their are) that there may be some questionable behavior that we might be unaware of going on??? What is it about such an idea that invites such humorless attacks on people as nut jobs and crazy . I mean reall

Why aren't more LP winners and near winners sharing their stories?
RJ In MO we have a 6-44 game and the average drawing produces around 10 to 20 5of6 wins. I would expect that many of the p-6 games have similar results. On the other hand the game produces around one 6of6 about every 10 games. Drawing twice a week or 102 tines a year we have around 10 JP wins each year. MO has a population of 6,000,000 so around .000001667 percent of the six million people in missouri hit over a 12 month period. If we use this as a roundabout figure then .0000016

Do some number combinations have better odds?
A649KING2B, If you look back at a sampling of my posts I think you will quickly get a feel for my style, and it's nowhere near what Ronnie316 would like you to believe. Based on your calm and methodical approach to the 6/49 game, I think you might have seen a few posts in this thread that appear to be authored by a blithering idiot. Since I've been called a Troll and I'm not sure what they mean by that here, for me to describe someone with the term would put me in the category of blithering i

Do some number combinations have better odds?
RJOh, If you managed to catch my last reply to your above post, I'm sorry for some of the repetition below. Someone who blocks my posts, and of course, doesn't get to read them, posted 16 1-2 line remarks in rapidfire, which may have pushed mine out of your sight. BTW, does LP offer prizes in addition to profile label changes for posting record numbers of times? And does LP compensate like Google Ads by counting clicks that members generate for USA MEGA? The same person who posts rapidfire sh

Rigged lotteries
Yes I am about to get out my ouija board, and I am about to stare at some goats, (like batman) and then I will use those goats to make some jerked stew with yuca and offer it to the spirits in exchange for a big win. (Lakerbens monkey meat is just not cutting it.) But in all seriousness, aliens did come down and reveal to me the rigged winning numbers last night. I just have to pump some iron and do a thorough w/o to verify the validity of those aliens at large. They could be trying
