$425 MILLION: Largest Powerball lottery jackpot in history
Thanks but, I leave it up to random quick pick luck. I've hit 4 of 6 numbers in sweet million, 5 times in the last 2 years, which pays $40 each time. The odds of that are about 1 in 400. Each time I get 1 set of QP numbers, so that's just over 200 plays in 2 years. On paper , it should take about 2000 weeks (20 years) to hit that 5 times. The nylottery page lets you search your numbers for past drawings, and each time I won, past drawings were only 3 numbers for $3, or no winning at all. I have

$425 MILLION: Largest Powerball lottery jackpot in history
I believe all this talk that self picks are better than quick picks is garbage.
If it were better to use self picks then somebody would have won already because I'm sure many people are out there picking their own numbers. But still we haven't had a winner since 10/3/12.
If it were true that quick picks don't win, then nobody would ever have won a jackpot using quick picks but we all know that this is not true.
Every set of numbers drawn all have the same odds of winning, 1 in 175,223,5

1,070 main lotto tickets :)
Luck also includes: right place, right time.
Did you buy your tickets all at once, all at the same place?
10 hundreds in a thousand, 10 thousands in 10,000, 10 ten thousands in a hundred thousand, 10 hundred thousands
in a million, 10 millions in ten million, 10 ten millions in a hundred million.
That's what happened.
Odds.
If you purchased your tickets all at once, why not try 1/10th at different locations/times next time?
(no need to have the machine r

Texas All or Nothing
For the night draw on Saturday there were 10,502
people who won at least $2---no big winner--
7 $500 winners, 189 $50 winners, 1698 $10 winners, 8608 $2 winners.
I have seen days of over 11,000 so I'm thinking it is falling out of
favor already. New players are taking the place of those dropping
out but I think it will start to decline by the 1st of the year for sure.
Sept 10th was the first draw so it is only 2 months old.
The odds are 1:4.5 --so 10,502 x 4.5

Lottery jackpot a silver lining for 11 Red Sox fans
Everyone has favorite numbers, but this is ridiculous.
On Oct. 3, 11 players bought Mass Cash tickets with the numbers 1, 4, 6, 8 and 9. All of the nine who have claimed their $100,000 prizes picked the numbers themselves rather than letting the lottery computer pick random numbers.
Lottery officials said some winners said they played that combination because it represents five Red Sox players whose retired numbers hang above right field at Fenway Park: Bobby Doerr, Joe Cronin, Johnny Pesk

Gail Howard Lottery Knowledge.
I've explained my position and it wouldn't serve any purpose to get into a circular discussion on the pros and cons of your
flag system. It's based on the premise that exact winning lottery numbers can be known prior to a drawing.
No way, now how!
I disagree. Its a phenomenon known as regression.
All the top programmers on this site are aware of the phenomena and many threads i am sure discuss it.
I am using the A+ as we speak, and yes, although I surely would have liked to win m

Homeless man wins $200,000 of $10 scratch off .
A homeless man in Greenville, S.C., has reason to smile today after winning $200,000 from a scratch-off lottery game.
The winner, who declined to be identified, told lottery officials he intends to use the money to take care of himself and his family. When the man scratched off the $10 ticket, he said he screamed, jumped up and down and smiled.
This will put me where I need to be, he told Greenville Online.
He told officials at the South Carolina Educational Lottery he used to work in c

NY brothers claim $5M win from '06 lottery ticket
WOW! that kinda makes since,, heres what i have always done.

Wouldn't it suck if you won millions of dollars in a lottery jackpot, lose the ticket, and then have the prize money claimed by somebody else that found your ticket? Yes, of course it would. That's why you should always sign your lottery ticket as soon as you purchase it from the retailer.
There are ways for lottery corporations to verify if you are the rightful owner of a ticket. The main one is via the signature
