has anyone bought a roll and did well??
People can do well buying rolls of tickets but you have to remember something: These games are designed to make money... not to lose money. The state issuing the tickets intends to make money with them to help with senior citizens and the other things they do with the money. So typically a book is designed to pay out half (or so) of the cost to buy the tickets.
If they sell $10,000,000 in tickets then they want to pay out in the ball park of $5,000,000 so you can see that if all the tick

rhode island 20 dollar scratchers are awful
I bought 2 books of lucky times 20. 30 tickets 600 bucks. There are still 48 top prizes left and chances are 1 in 6000.
The first book I got back 340. 1 ticket won 100 dollars and the rest small.
The second book I got back 300. 2 tickets won 50 dollars and the rest small.
Then I purchased 2 books of Cash Spectacular. odds are 1:2.40.
30 tickets per book. 1 book I got back 440.
The other book I got back 380.
All tickets were either 40 or 20 dollar winners.
Terrible Terrible

Just basic math for some people
Sorry I am rusty with my math already. Hope anyone can correct me if I am wrong and answer the question below
The odd so winning the euromillions is 116.5 m and the main lotto is 14m.
If I have 100 and I buy main lotto tickets only, my odd of winning the jackpot should be 1:140,000
If I decided to play both equally with the same amount of money and main lotto tickets costing 1 and Euromillions costing 2 each.
Main lotto 14m/50 tickets=1:280,000 chance of winning the jackpot
Euromi

Do you ever get discouraged or you don't give up?
I feel like I've been playing since the 1770's. I just missed hitting George Washington's Mountain Road Lottery by one number!
Elizabeth, hang in there because as long as:
a) You only spend money that you can comfortably lose
b) You take into account the long odds and expect to lose way more often than win
c) You are having fun with it
Then you should be okay. But I know what you're saying, because sometimes it's not easy to have all three of those going at the same time, especial

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I think ronnie and stack have very good ideas on how to beat the odds...
but I would suppose that one of the most important features is that the 28 number group has to be distinct and well defined...not entirely 28 totally random numbers...
so suppose you have
1) odd
2)even
3)High
4)Low
5)MId
6) Particular Decades/Ten game group
a good question might be...how many distinct and well defined groups can be categorized and how well does the flag formation show for each one

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Well conidering that Lotteries have been run for many decades, and considering that I don't believe that there are any biases, I haven't chosen to run any trial and error testing, which I feel would be a waste of time.
I've said this to other people before, and they always seem to get offended. But the burden of proof is on YOU GUYS, who think the lottery's odds are different than published. I simply used the logic, followed by math. Assuming that there are no biases, my math should be s

hello four4me, et al
Appreciate the useful keno chipset info repeating combo outlook
In celebrations of Father's Day, here is a highly predictable out come based on occurances that can be back checked @ no risk.
When any two of this trio combo happen in the same game, 24-36-80 L@@K for the missing number to hit within next 3-6 games.
Check it out against past performances, not each every time mind you, but certainly above the expected odds (not to be found in anyy book )

Pick-4 for Dummies Week of Tuesday 06/12/2012
Table II of my numbers is a subscribed list, but on Tuesdays I do allow members of my Player's Club to obtain the match for their astrological birth sign. Later on in the week I usually open up this list for all members here on the Lottery Post so that you can obtain the matches from Table I from Tuesdays list per request by private message. Table II has a total of TWENTY numbers, but again, you are looking for those that match YOUR astrological birth sign so you would only have a few numbers to
