Tenn. Lottery CEO blames lagging sales on Powerball
Think about it.
Keno drawn every 5 minutes with ball machines is logistically and physically impossible. Drawing 5,000 6-digit raffle numbers with a ball machine is logistically and physically impossible.
I would not suggest what I said about 10 digits without reason.
I never said computers should be banned entirely. They have their purposes. But one of them is not lotto-style games.
There are basically three types of people who like computerized drawings:
The companies that cr

How do I prove my state lottery's CGNs are fixed?
If you also see four 5's and multiples of it and by that i mean if you see 5, 15, 20, 30, and then a number, and if you see this appear 2 times in less than 3 months, then your game is rigged..
Excluding the power ball, there are 14,520 combinations with 4 numbers with multiples of 5 and you could expect to see it happen once out of every 250 drawings. I did a quick look back to January 2006 and couldn't find where that happened once so maybe it's due. And since it should average two hits i

Mega Million System
Okay, I'm game with this 'time' thing...
The word 'chance' is in the bible and things do happen by chance. There are just a couple examples in the bible of things happening by chance. I'm not talking about a 'chance of wheat', but the other meaning in case you want to do a search for it in the Strong's Concordance.
When someone wins the jackpot, it's by chance that they won. It wasn't their turn to win. God didn't hand it to them. They weren't selected from some cosmic raffle to win the ja

Brothers sharing $1M Georgia Lottery jackpot
With a few scratches, brothers Samoeun and Samoeuth Am have achieved a lofty goal only dreamed about by most Americans.
On Jan. 4, Samoeuth Am drove from his Jacksonville home to the El Cheapo gas station on Ga. 40 in Kingsland to buy some Georgia Lottery tickets. Among them was a Georgia's $500 Million Club ticket with a top prize of $1 million.
Am, who is unemployed, said he scratched off the ticket, which costs $20, near the cash register and stared at the ticket in disbelief.

Tenn. players picked up on new odds before lottery revealed glitch
Just about all of them do, but there's a big difference between using a computer for a raffle or Keno and using it every day to draw the lotto numbers.
(The report card shows that a majority of states have NOT computerized their daily lotto games.)
Computers have made it very simple to draw raffles and to draw games every 5 minutes without fail. Computers have important uses at a state lottery.
My entire career is based on computers. If there is a person here who supports the use of c

UK Lottery operator plans $500 million global lottery game
---- The exchange rates have always made such a lottery almost impossible since even spending the equivalent of a dollar for a lottery ticket in some countries could cut deep into the average family budget. ----
Valid point, however, a global lottery will most likely be a collection of 1st world countries with one or two developing countries on the fast track to first world status. Third world countries, poverty stricken countries, anti gambling countries, and countries with strong religiou
