Jimmy,
Are you still hunting for ocean front property in Arizona?
Bluejay: Length. Each simulation will run for 200,000 rounds. A round is an event where any bet is resolved. It's fine for your system to sit out sometimes to wait for streaks or other conditions, but 200,000 rounds must be wagered on (unless you go bust first). We'll run this simulation 20 times, and you win the challenge if your system wins at least 11 out of the 20 times.

Correct way to win any states pick 3
Thanks Boney, but just for the record, I never said I don't believe systems work.
I do believe that patterns and trends can and do develop in the random draw of numbers.
I do believe if you have the interest, ability and time you can develop a strategy to use these patterns and trends to improve your odds and call it a system.
I think that's a good thing and the sharing and discussion of it makes LP an interesting place.
At the other end of the spectrum are the guys who show up

Of Cat Washing and Backtesting
As I've said before his test seems to be picking a combination and seeing how many times it would have hit in the past which is the same as calculation the odds of it hitting any time.
I've been hoping we see a test that resembles actual pick-3 or any lottery game play. The only tests I saw were 5000 to 50,000 random players betting $1 every night for years.
But for testing systems designed for pick5 and jackpot games which probably avoid combinations that have come up in the past, back

Painful losses
Ky Floyd
You have to win one first, I could expect to win my 5-39 around 339 times to every 1 powerball win. The average
JP for my 5-39 is 142K so 339 wins would be $48,138,000. A PB JP would need to be at least $96,276,000 to get
the same bang for the buck. Even if playing only 5 white balls for a PB match-5 which pays $200,000 I could expect
to win 8 times playing my 5-39 which would average $1,234,734, over one million dollars more then a PB 5 of 5. I
just posted this so people

Good Investment Or Not- Playing Every Combination
Look at the back of your playslip.
GRAND PRIZE Six wining numbers in one game grid
Odds 1:20,358,520
Chances on a $1 play (2 grids) 1:10,179,260

The second figure is for 2 grids since you get two for $1.
But even if you were up against the second figure, not the first (you're up against the first, that's how many possible combinations there are) and let's say you hit it.....what if omeone else did the same draw? Now what?
NEVER ASS

N.Y. Lottery to launch new ad slogan
Be ready?
That's a catchall phrase that takes the heat off of them nicely I think.
Be ready to/for what?
Win? Lose? Spend more? For a let down? For a win of $5? To fork over your money and be okay with that?
Surely they can't mean be ready for top prize, that's worse odds than finding a needle in a haystack.
If it happens, it will be: right place, right time. That's it. There is no sense in being ready..it could take 50
years of wasted readiness.
A better slogan might have b

PA Treasure Hunt 5/30 $200k Sunday 5/8/11
PA Lottery Treasure Hunt is a 5/30 GAME with a starting Jackpot of $10,000.
Nobody has matched all 5 of 30 numbers for 8 draws now, and the jackpot stands at $200,000.00 which is simply amazing!
I love the Treasure Hunt game and with odds something around 1 in 142,000 for the jackpot, it's a great game to play.
2/5 $1.00
3/5 $6.00
4/5 $100.00
5/5 JaCkPoT!
Good Luck and I would take a few minutes to make a few selections! ! !
I like these combos 6/10/12, 2/3/10, 9/
