Some NC lottery players win so often, their good fortune defies logic
The North Carolina lottery wants you to believe we all have the same chance to win.
But some players are winning so often, and so big, that their good fortune defies logic.
Almost certainly, experts say, some are more than lucky. They are likely gaming the system. And the losers are the state's taxpayers, single parents and those who play by the rules.
An investigation found players who beat staggering odds so consistently that statisticians said chances of being that lucky were less th

Do you believe every combination has the same probability?
In random processes repeating digits, pairs, and numbers in general happen more often than one would think. It is biased in respect to the odds of the game, to consider that every single combination of 2-7-9-8 or 0-4-6-8 should be considered to be the same number. Because each different combination of that number has different payouts. Again, you must consider the odds as part of the game. You cannot be biased with making up your own version of the truth.

How many tickets do you buy for each drawing?
It depends on the draw. the cost, the odds. PB and MM i have a share in 1 ticket ea. my aust draws, usually 8 per entry, so as to cover ea number once. also to match costs with my american friend , so as we're spending similar dollars. but i dont buy every draw here, local high odds i wait till the prize is $10M

Does the size of the lottery jackpot matter to you?
His story is somewhat similar to mine. I eventually decided that a little bit of something beats all of nothing with the small games and adjusted accordingly. With the jackpot games though, there's no real way for me to 'effectively' put the odds in my favor so, all I can do is go along for the ride. There have been so many times that I actually purchased tickets thinking that the draw was that night but, the cashier enlightened me that it wasn't...and also wondered why I'd want to play for such

How many tickets do you buy for each drawing?
I spend what it costs to ensure my profit without worrying about my odds of hitting 'cause I just can't afford to lose blindly. But, I play Pick4 which is light years from any jackpot game's odds.

Small Hot Lotto Win
Congrats HoLeeKau! That's no small task to do at odds of 1:3,385! Too bad you didn't sizzle it! Now you need a 4 of 6 on Mass Megabucks Doubler. At odds of just over 1:1,000 that should be easy for you with double the payout.

California Lottery Scratch Off's are a scam
Yes. The odds are a joke. the last scratcher i played hardcore was the $10 1 million fortune. when the odds for the jackpot was 1:1 million. also there were more jackpots..now they only have like 5 top prizes LOL.

Been playing the lottery for years without a major win. So...
Just because a jackpot game has hard odds doesn't mean it's a bad game. If you spend more than a handful of minutes getting some random numbers, whether QP or SP, then you shouldn't play in the first place. Accept the odds, spend a little entertainment money, and hope to win something.

Pick 4 idea

MO pays $6000.00 for a P-4 straight and the choice to switch from my 5-39 to p-4 is based on the odds. The odds of winning my
5-39 are 1 in 575,757 and the average JP is around $142,000.00. The odds for P-4 are 1 in 10,000 so a P-4 player should be able
to win more over time than playing the 5-39. 575,757 / 10,000 = 57.6 * 6,000 = $345,600. The 5-39 pays for lower level prizes so
this figure is not exact but I think the p-4 is still a better bet. I have a little app that I c

Financially Desperate, Ignorant, Greedy And Lazy People Are Playing The Lottery?
I'm still trying to figure out if Thrifty is a lottery player or actually abhors it and the rest of us. I know a couple of people like him that say and truly believe that you or me will never win the lottery. It's in the odds. Just look at the odds! You are NEVER going to win it. You're better off spending your dollar or two on other stuff.
