Lottery is fun to play when...
...when you have a relatively low expectation. I used to want to win hundreds of millions of dollars. Now I simply want to nab a couple of millions. Well, that's still a lot. But most people in the world will never be able to touch such amount of money, right? Now I am going through a process to launch my career after I managed to earn my BFA at a Cal State university. I was obsessed with lottery because I had little confidence in my future career. (who doesn't?) Of course I still want to w

Post your scratch ticket results
I went to the website and checked them out. It will be nice to see some new ones even though they do look very familiar to some released in the past...the $5 one reminds me of the Emerald 8's...even uses 8's - getting the green 8 though, would be nice for $80 instantly. The $10 ticket, you're right it does look a lot like Diamonds and Pearls....Crossword? I'll have to go and compare odds for the 2nd and 3rd release. I'm surprised they stopped at 4 new ones...this time I expected at leas

Lucky $200,000 for Life (Florida Lottery $20)
Hey guys, I'm in FL too and the posts from LuisM, B$rizzle and James1 are very interesting. I've been gathering info for a while too. Here is what I've seen on the BDB, There is a 1 in 6mil chance to win the 10mil and I believe there would be 60million tickets printed. Those may not be all in one batch as this 20.00 ticket has the * next to it on the flalottery website. The 200,000 Lucky for life has 1 in 3mil chance to win the 200,000/year top prize, which should equal 30million in the

Finding Pairs to Hit within 3 Days...
Did the same thing back checked WI Pick 3 it looked to me like on avg it was 8 to 10 days or more out before a hit came came again so I would say the method wouldn't be that valid for WI, because when you think about it you could probably pick any 2 numbers from a previous drawing if you keep going forward with it the odds that those 2 numbers are going to come up again together are pretty good, the question is just when. Just to prove my point I scrolled back to last years Pic

MADDOG'S Powerball Challenges (Discussion)
All I'm trying to do is make people aware that they cannot view the lottery as a means to earn a living. I've probably been the most critical and most vocal about your statistics and that's because I know lottery players and how they wager. People playing a couple bucks on a pick-3 number aren't doing it to make a living. The same is true for MM and PB; they know the odds are extremely high against them winning a life changing jackpot, but they also know a couple a bucks a week isn't going

Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
everyone Here is a link to a lottery odds, Combos, and probability calculator that I wrote. Just run the setup program and it will install the calc and build a shortcut to it. It is not for pick-3 or pick-4 single digit games and does not calculate bonus balls. Just type in how many numbers are in each set and then type in how many numbers in the matrix. Example for a 6-44 game 1st type in 6 and press enter 2nd type in 44 and press enter The results will then be

Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
RL CT Why would the lotteries care about anything you mentioned above or for that matter why would anyone. While it is true that most people pick five or six numbers to build each set they play and may include many different digits, odd numbers, even numbers, High numbers, low numbers and any other type of number or information they think may be useful or better in some way verses a quick-pick, I don't see a problem with this. From quite a few discussions on this board, es
