For a variety of reasons I had to vote Yes too. Some of it has to do with my study of odds, winners and their stories. How many tickets sold...how many winners, where they came from...how long they've been playing...how many tickets they bought..quick picks versus own picks and any other info I can glean. Some of it has to do with my own experience. I haven't missed a Powerball draw in over 2 1/2 years. Regardless of jackpot size I've been in them all. In the 3 1/2 years prior to that

Thanx all for responding. I made this poll to show how high the odds really are without saying it literally. I'm generally a positive person, yet there's always something nagging at me when I even have the slightest possibility of a flaw. I know...I'm thinking too much, but I can't help it, that's the way I am. Here in Florida, the lightning capital of the world....literally, there is a one in seven million chance of being struck by lightning. The lotto is about one in 23 million. You

A correction: Fortunes are dreamt of... and then lost. I work with a fellow that has played every Florida State Lotto for $25.00 each drawing. Since it started he has played the same numbers, when it went to two drawing are week he still played the same amount. June 6th this year he hit five of six for the second time. He doesn't think about slowing down and he couldn't even tell you the odds. But he still gets excited with each drawing. I don't really agree with his thinking b

MO midday
Ricky, LOL...... I know .....and I know you know too. Sooner or later we are going to have to sit down and discuss these Unclassified Stinker numbers that are older than dirt Group LOL The more we learn about these off the wall groups the better we will know how to deal with the more traditional number group structures. At any rate .....and at the very least,.... it gives MO players a good list of really old numbers that only need to be played ....Straight. When in doubt nu

A Hit or a Thud??
There is this cute little building that looks like a house a few miles from me and it was for rent recently. I think it used to be some kind of realtor's office or something but for some reason Lottery Mart came into my head. A store all about lottery. You could, of course, puchase tickets and scratchoffs in the store, along with lottery books, pamplets, etc. And if your state had the keno lottery that plays every 5 minutes, perhaps there could be a few tables and chairs placed around

Book of Variables P3, Preview
Hello Maverick, Those are RAW numbers, no draw history or filtering of any kind. A lot of numbers in Tier 1 for sure , and that is expensive even for on-line plays :) But since the hits do come in Tier 2 and Tier 3; and they are around 30 numbers ( not counting the repeates); on-line play comes to around $ 8.00 a draw for box only, 6 draws is $ 48.00 ..... Average hits for Tier 2 and 3 compined is 4 hits, 4X40.00=160.00 160-48=112 net !!! Double the cost @ corner store $

Wisconsin man claims $14.4M lottery jackpot
Terry Peters, of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, became a millionaire Tuesday. Peters validated the sole winning ticket from Saturday's $14.4 million Megabucks drawing at state lottery offices. Earlier on Monday, Peters had stopped by the store where he purchased the ticket to check if he was a winner. He chose to take the lump sum cash payment of $7.6 million. He will receive about $5.4 million after taxes. Peters will take part in a news conference at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the GV Unimart in

Who Is Really Going To Teach You How To Win??
You really need to achieve an indepth understanding of wheeling. The type of wheel you describe trades good lotto play for fewer lines. I've used 15 number wheels to play a Pick-5 (5/39) and found out that playing a 13 combination 3if5 wheel only gives me the guarantee because the wheel is balanced. I play 15 numbers because I don't know which 5 will hit so even if I know that 1 number will occur 6 times, 3 numbers will occur 5 times, and the other 11 have 4 occurrences, I'd still be gues
