Just found 39 $30 1,000,000 for life tickets in New York. Could be the last tickets.
I advised him the same thing to just scratch them himself because he may regret it later. But the odds are the odds and I really doubt anything good comes from that book just because I followed the numbers ot this game and I have it pretty much down pat. I posted my reasons why

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Yeah its very odd. The overall odds on the $25 are better than the $30 tickets though, which makes zero sense. Shouldn't the odds be better the more the ticket costs?

No more scratchers for me. No more.
Odds on both scratch offs and draw games both suck. In this state, the state returns only 50% of money spent to players, it's the same on both types of games. If the odds were the most important thing to me, I would go to a casino or OTB. Even though it's not mathmatically sound reasoning, I care more about the risk/reward ratio. $1 or $2 risk for $$$$$$$$$$$$.

No more scratchers for me. No more.
The odds of winning a jackpot are 1 in a million or more . But the point is , if it is not there in the store, then your chance is ZERO . That is the sad part about these scratch offs. With the megas, powerballs and other numbers game , even though the odds are astronomical , you still have a chance irrespective of where you bought the ticket

To strategize or not to strategize? That is the question
Players who really want to know the real odds of winning a game can find out fairly easy, the rest assume the odds are one in a billion even if it's a pick3 game.

The most consistent and reliable filter in Pick 3
Where did you get the ideal that A=Even, B=odd Etc, hope you're not 'mapping' 1 A, 2 B etc, if so, then my post will not make sense. Try to understand the history of 'odds, even' dating back to 420 bc, why they were assigned to shapes before numbers. My original post is not even about 'odds, even, etc.

To strategize or not to strategize? That is the question
Thanks for the well thought out reply. I would like to 1st say welcome to LP! I guess the word chance was wrong as it means the odds and the odds are the same if you take out combinations or not. I guess I am asking will it increase the frequency of finding a coin if there are less cups to dig through to find that coin i.e. a winning ticket.

Poll: Do you think that you will ever when a major jackpot?
I don't really 'expect' to win a mega-jackpot, something with crazy, outer-space odds. I like to play games with smaller jackpots, better odds, because I'm a math girl. I like number games and I like getting money back, so I play for the fun of improving my skills, winning enough to keep playing at no cost, and therefore increasing my chances of someday hitting a jackpot. With the right type of game, something with which I've developed a good flow, yes, I believe it could happen.

Movies and Your Workout.
I actually have caught that movie a few times. Its interesting. Now thats a movie about beating the odds. Hollywood is always pushing the idea of a 70 year old man dating a 40 year old woman. What are the odds of that in real life? How about that for a pick 4 number? 4070?
