Arizona Lottery bans Fast Play bulk ticket purchases
Dude what are you talking about? Apparently you don't know what a Fast Play ticket is. Fast Play tickets print out of the lottery terminal or a lottery vending machine. YOU instantly know if you have won or not by looking at the ticket or scanning it. There are NO waiting until the numbers are drawn. Arizona feels that there is a problem with some people trying to buy up all the Fast Play tickets in the Progressive games, which are jackpots that continually grow until someone wins. In my area of

Calif. Lottery Daily Derby software glitch created faulty 'Quick Pick' tickets, possibly for years
Lottery announces game promotion to account for error
Error only happened under certain conditions
By Kate Northrop
The California Lottery's Daily Derby game was affected by a software glitch that could potentially limit the number of possible combinations a player could receive on their ticket, if their plays were purchased in specific ways.
Following the discovery of a software error in the Daily Derby game, the California Lottery announced a compensatory promotion that will in

little kids just like they way it feels when the machine pulls the dollar bill out of your hands. a teen is old enough to have a real (and unhealthy) interest in gambling.
An 8yo might not have had a clue what they wee even buying. It's possible the parents gave the kid some money and told him to get something from a vending machine, and for whatever reason that's the machine he chose.
These teens nowadays look like adults could be an honest mistake

The $29.95 Non-Believerz
I would rather be a vending machine victim than a loser who hates the elderly and disabled (which I am neither).
Lotterologist has some haters on this board but he manages to say nice things every now and then.
You should be ashamed of yourself.

Vending machine or counter tickets??
I know the vending machine at a nearby supermarket can be opened by store personnel, and I'd imagine that almost all vending machines can be opened by the store they're in. I'd expect the store loads the tickets from the same batch used to load counter displays. In that case I can't imagine how there could possibly be a difference.
In NY there are vending machines (and lots of NY tourism stuff) at Thruway rest areas, and it's possible that those are loaded by lottery personnel. For those who

The lottery has made me lose myself, how can I save myself?
It's about self control. I sometimes refer to buying a lottery ticket as feeding the monster .
You can't overfeed the monster. I did for several years. But I also kept track of my spending. One year I spent over $2600 on lottery tickets. At the end of the year I realized how stupid it was and decided to reel it in. I have a budget that I keep. Just today at work I was leaving and walked by the lottery vending machine. I stopped and stared at the scratch offs for a minute and was about to pl

Never did this before
No, actually I do work on the casino floor. When one of my players hits a jackpot for $2,000, I'm not going to look them up in player tracking to see that they lost $3,000 today, prior to that one spin, and then go over there and say oh hi Krystal I see you've LOST $1,000 today!
Get a grip. When someone wins $2,000 on a slot machine, that one spin is a winner. I do get sore winners who whine that they've lost $3,000 in order to win $2,000 just now. That's their problem.
Tables does the

I'm done playing the lottery
I've spent $200 on PB tickets and plenty of money on scratch-off tickets at the vending machine at Safeway on Wadsworth 38th Ave in Wheatridge, CO. I didn't win very much, which I expected given the prize structure of that game.
The last time I went there, I scanned $40 worth of winning scratch-off tickets, selected 8 $5 tickets, and when I hit check out , the machine did nothing. I asked the clerk and she told me to contact the Colorado Lottery. I did, and their response was that the retail

MegaMillions ticket reprint fraud by a store associate?
I'm in Florida. I've no idea if Florida Lottery software has reprint functionality included in it or not. This is the first time I've ever heard of such a thing, but I can see why it might be necessary and potentially have a positive use(s). I might ask a few clerks here in Florida if they've ever heard of it, or maybe I'll just send an email to The Florida Lottery and ask them if they have reprint functionality in the software. (I might even do both!)
I'm also wondering if the ability to re
