Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
There is only one $5M prize remaining. The website has a glitch. I think the odds are decent that it was released but will never be won. I buy the 100X when I find it but the odds of any big prizes left are low. There are less than 200 books remaining.

Just out of curiosity...
Do any of you mathematicians know what the odds of a repeating double in Pick 3 are? MD had 090 last nite and 090 this morning. Just wondering what those odds are.

Would you support Powerball ticket cost to increase to $3 dollars?
I think that instead of decreasing the odds of winning to 1 in 292M they just should have increased the ticket price to $3 dollars and increase the odds of winning. I would buy more Powerball tickets than. Would you do the same?

Bad habits strike again!
worry more about beating those very high odds, not where you live. there will always be more winners in states with larger populations, but even the people in those higher populations still have to overcome the high odds. the balls don't care where you live,

Bad habits strike again!
So much for bigger jackpots. I thought the increased MM odds was to target that. I guess they will have to raised the odds again.

Can this really happen...
I don't really get why this would be hard to believe. One set of numbers has as much a chance of winning as any other set. Buying 2 tickets instead of 1 might increase the odds of winning, but when your chances of winning are so infinitesimal that extra tickets barely make a dent in your odds, one ticket is all you need.

Virginia: 9/1 - 9/30/2015
That is amazing. I'm not a mathematician, but just thinking about it, the odds would have to be some combination of 166.7:1 and 416.7:1. So, I'm guessing the combined odds would multiply to 69,464:1, something like that. No matter how you look at it, that's amazing.

Here comes BBQ-scented N.C. Lottery scratch tickets
BBQ is HUGE here in NC. The big debate is eastern bbq vs western bbq. One is tomato-based, the other vinegar based. (And no, I don't know which side does which bbq. I just ask for non-vinegar bbq, which is hard to come by sometimes.)
And yes, the odds are getting worse and worse. I actually think the odds they post are not true - they are worse! I used to be able to get a winning ticket using their odds, but now, I don't win at all. If it was 1 in every 4 is a winner, usually the 5th ticket w

What's the longest drought you have had between wins- any wins?
In states that sell MM tickets with over all odds of winning better than 1:15 or pick5(5/39) that pay for a match2 with over all odds better than 1:9 it's really how much you're willing to spend. If you're only buying a dollar ticket once in a while you shouldn't be expecting to win very often while on the other hand if you're spending $5-$10 daily it's different.

California has won last night's Powerball
California is probably glad both PB and MM have been won and reset 'cause now their Super Lotto jackpot is bigger than both of them with better odds which should attract more players. Ohio Classic Lotto is only at $8M and with its odds of 1:14M I'm leaning toward playing it for a while until MM and PB jackpots build up again.
