Wisconsin man repeats same feat of winning multiple lottery jackpots
I don't believe in any algorithm for solving the problem on how to win the lottery. The odds are always the same. The odds on winning the Powerball game is 175 million to one. No one can make some mathematical equation on to some computer and somehow come up with the winning numbers to win on the lottery. Nonsense!

$485 MILLION: Powerball jackpot raised
The odds for my state game is 1 in 130000 (ohio classic). My odds with 2nd place PB is better. Also, there are at least 10 to 20 new 2nd place weekly millionaires (powerplay or not) and it seems like there's hardly a winner with classic.

I need help calculating my odds
The odds of not winning a single exact pick3 is 999/1000.
The odds of not winning a single exact pick4 is 9999/10000.
So the odds of not winning both pick3 and pick4 would be 999/1000 * 9999/10000 which is .9989001.
So the odds of winning either a pick3 or pick4 would be 1 - .9989001 or .0010999

Wisconsin man repeats same feat of winning multiple lottery jackpots
Those would be the odds for somebody who owns one set of lines on a ticket they shared with somebody else. For all of the normal people who buy a ticket of their own the odds for each play are 1 in 1.63 million.

Ohio's Rolling Cash5(5/39) has a $461K jackpot
With odds of 1:575,757 Ohio's Rolling Cash5(5/39) has a Saturday jackpot of $461K while PowerBall has a jackpot of $289M with odds of 1:195M. It's hard to decide which game to play, maybe I should play them both.

Powerball is kicking it up-10 millionaires were made tonight!!.
The new Powerball matrix, at current odds, will be a fantastic thing. I bet you that when it gets implemented, the new odds will be in the stratosphere thereby screwing up something that could have been a good thing for the players. What am I thinking?. It's about lottery profits, not about player satisfaction.

Lucky for Life multi-state lottery game set to expand next week
NY/NJ Cash For Life has odds of 1-21.8 million for the top prize of 1K a day for life. This has slightly worse odds, and with a bit over 60 drawings there has only been a few jackpot winners, maybe 4 if I'm correct and 2 second prize winners (1K a week)

Woman almost gave away her $1.3M lottery ticket
Something is going on with these lotteries. They seem three times greedier than they were in 2010. The scratch cards from 2010 had much better odds. For example back then $5 cards that offered $1M had odds of 1:3.024M. Now they're at least 1:4.2M and some like Cadillac Riches are 1:5.04M.

No winner in NY CashForLife?
The odds of 1000 per week for life is I believe one in 7 million. The odds of $1000 per day for life are much higher. Since the ticket price is double of SM, you would think there would be at least some 2nd prize winners.

Systems Vs. Pure Luck
Anything is better than random luck, in my opinion. Here's an example. Take quick pick. When you're playing quick pick, you're hoping your brand new set of random numbers will match a brand new set of random numbers. That makes your odds about as bad as they could be unless you were trying for bad odds. Take something like Pick 3. I have 20 years of lottery data for my state. I know that in the last 20 years, there are a handful of combinations that have yet to hit. On the other hand, there are
