El Gordo (The Fat One)
The overall jackpot is huge and in the billions, it's just that there are 160 of the top prizes given away which makes each prize smaller. Most people don't pay the $243 or whatever for the billete, so this is why there are usually many many winners all sharing the pot (which explains the popularity). I think the odds of winning anything are like 1 in 7, better than many games, but still not worth buying a billete especially since the top prize for the odds and cost is worse than elsewhere.

PA Raffle Countdown to 500,000 ...
For the casual, occasional player, value is generally of little consequence. Many just buy a ticket and hope for the best. However, for players who wager a lot, value is a valid consideration in choosing the games, and how to best wager on them.
For example, a high roller player in Pennsylvania focused on winning $1 million cash with say a $10,000 budget would do better spending that amount on $20 instant tickets along with Quinto ($20 on the same number straight) verses the PA Lottery raffle

Input Playing the Various 6-49 Games
To me personally, the odds are where it's at.
IMHO, playing the lottery is a sucker bet. It's incredibly hard to win a life changing amount of money. That's why when I play PB or MM, I'm really playing for second place. Because of that, whenever I play, I always buy the Megaplier or Power Play. I also used to play two identical lines on my Sweet Million tickets because the first 5 winners of a JP were NOT pari-mutuel. So if I had all six numbers on both of those lines, I'd have won two millio

Does your odds increase tremendously by millions just like this? Read for details.
You don't have to be good at math to use an odds calculator program. The odds of matching 4 in a 6/49 game are 1:1032.

Virginia: 12/1 - 12/31/2014
Each probability number is the probability of 0x6 NOT being drawn from 11/1/2013 day draw until that draw on that date. For example, the probability of 0x6 NOT being drawn from 11/1/2013 up to and including tonight's draw is .0003190001393. To see the odds against just divide 1 by 0.0003190001393 and the odds against are 1:3135, which is pretty crazy, but not completely insane.

Believe it or not, it's not that hard to manufacture two identical QP's . There's a 1 in 39 chance that a player could engineer two identical QP's .
If I did what I described above, on the second game, the computer would chose the fifth number from a pool of 39 numbers. (1 thru 39) That makes the odds for it to pick the number needed to make the second QP identical to the first just 39 to 1.
That's pretty low odds considering T5's odds are 575,757 to 1. For the computer to randomly pick a

Playing the lottery everyday does not increase your chances of winning. Odds of winning a lottery jackpot never change unless they change the particular game matrix. Buying 1 lottery ticket everyday for a year versus 365 lottery tickets in 1 drawing? They both have the same odds of winning the jackpot, but you will never recover the time lost by buying a lottery ticket everyday for a year.

NJ CASH 5 @ 900 Thousand
it looks to me like the odds of winning are great than the odds for a $1 dollar game, i would buy , not all in buy but i would spend on this before any PB or MM that is rolling along into the 100's of millions

Monopoly Millionaires game
True, there have been some unusual occurrences in the lottery. Off the top of my head I recall a few cases where consecutive jackpots were won, a skip, and then another won. People may identify it as hot, cold, streaks, whatever but in the grand scheme of the game they are just short-term fluctuations that average out.
I should point out that although the odds were 1 in 60,000ish (I don't have sales yet but thinking circa 900,000), or 1 in 15,000 in the case of 4 tickets for this particular d

just discovered an amazing pick4 system
I love the USA LOL. I am learning the pick 3/4 and have focused mainly on the jackpot games over the years and developed several things to get my numbers. I wish I had luck on my side some times but I am here to tell you and everyone else on the board, getting jackpot numbers is a skill more than luck IMHO. I have won more money this past year than I have earned in my life time as a Director of engineering earning over $100k. Again IMHO folks that say its pure luck are the same folks that say th
