I wondered about that. At about 2pm the day of the drawing, terminals were advising clerks that sales would stop at 5pm..and this was 2 hours before draw time. Why they would do that I don't know. I'm happy they do not get bragging rights for a sellout once again. The raffle is overrated and overemphasized. Just some extra information ... of course the Lottery wants a sell-out by 5pm today but they still have profit ... maybe just a little less. Last week I was figuring this out ... they really need to sell 300,000 tickets to cover all the prizes and have a small profit ... Here are the figures ...
