Personally i think the best way to play pick 4 is to isolate a certain format and play that one only. This is because since all formats will hit during the year, you can't guess them right all the time. Its best to pick one particular format (your choice) and keep track of and play only that. For example: P4 has 10,000 combos total... 5,040 of those are Singles ABCD (meaning 4 different digits).. say 0319 4,320 are Doubles (AABC, ABAC, ABCA, ABBC, ABCB, ABCC)... say 5542 the rest
