But you are generalizing ALL players under one hat (understanding the value of a dollar), and that's not correct. 1) There are folks that buy a single QP 'by gosh or by golly'. 2) There are folks that buy QP 1-2 tickets like clockwork. 3) There are folks that buy one constant set of numbers every draw like clockwork (usually birthdays, etc.) 4) There are folks that have a 'system' and have allocated X dollar/dollars to it, and have that strict dollar limit and never exceed it. John has it exactly right, assuming one ticket for each drawing. The fact that a bunch of posters here don't understand the math doesn't change the facts.
