Hi All A little math. In a pick-3 matrix, each pair of digits shows 30 times. Each 3 digit set has 3 pairs. Example. 123 has digit pairs, (12)- (13)- (23) and each of these pairs appear 30 times in 1000 lines. If we include box pairs then we also have (21)-(31)-(32) giving us 6 pairs total. Now if each of these pairs shows 30 times then as a round about head figure 6*30=180 and 1000/180=5.5. This is not a exact number because of overlapping digit pairs but I think you get the pic
