Longest jackpot run ever for Florida Lotto
Thank you..I see. hmm well I guess having 2 drawings a week is a win win for the florida lottery since the odds are worse now as oppose to 22 years ago..a drawing once a week and the rollover doubled...seem to me the odds and jp was better then versus now.thank you again..

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
The drawing results tell the real odds of winning the jackpot. It sure looks like you have two chances on one ticket to win the All or Nothing jackpot, but after they drawn the first number, one chance disappears so there really is only one chance. To win both of the two chances, a player must purchase two tickets and those tickets must have the opposite numbers. Players calculate their odds of winning the jackpot based on the number of chances they have to win as if each additional different

Since Mega Millions is changing in October will you be playing more now before the change?
The states need to increase the odds to have bigger jackpots and reach the Billion Dollar mark. They need the lottery hysteria to generate interest and more sales. Yes, i will play the Billion dollar MM, despite the long odds. Being a billionaire has a nice ring to it.

Mega Millions lottery game's redesign aims at bigger jackpots, better overall odds
I'll simplify my last reply. Pb has better jackpot odds for one line of play while mm has better jackpot odds for same amount of money played. Hope that clears it up a bit.

Mega Millions lottery game's redesign aims at bigger jackpots, better overall odds
Well without getting into which game has better odds at each level, please keep this in mind pb players. The new mm game will still have better jackpot odds for a $2 bet which would be somewhere in the vicinity of 125 million to 1 compared to pb at 175 million to one. Food for thought.

Mega Millions lottery game's redesign aims at bigger jackpots, better overall odds
Eventually people will wise up about MM new ridiculous odds, and when they do I suspect increasing numbers of people will migrate to playing PB instead. After all, the PB jackpots will still be large enough for a person to live comfortably and while still long their odds of winning will be better too.

Who Cares if Lottery is RIGGED??
Lotteries beat people down bye their odds. Especially in the state games like lotto and in the multi-state games like powerball and mega millions. You can not beat the odds all the time. I just hope I get lucky once before I crock that is my dream for now. Good luck to all who play.-weshar75

State Raffles. What are your thoughts on them?
The top prize of $1,000,000 in raffles is 1:125,000 if they are selling only 500,000 tickets with 4 tickets getting picked for $1M. Those odds are many times better than even Cash 5 (5/35). I find those odds irresitable. And raffles pay lumpsum so only taxes get deducted.

If a store offered Quickpicks as rewards, would you shop there?
The overall odds of 1 in 31.8 on PB are better than the 1 with 39.9 in MM, but the ticket cost twice as much. The odds are the same using the Megaplier option but the payoffs favor MM.

If a store offered Quickpicks as rewards, would you shop there?
The conventional Jammy type thinking would be..... what difference does it make, the odds are already 175,000,000, to one .... But that is not necessarily so. When I choose the correct bonus number and buy 5 lines my odds of hitting the jackpot with that 5 line ticket are 780,940 to one. That wont be possible after the change takes place on Oct. 22.
