That sounds like they will be raising the price to $2. That's exactly how PB did it. Raise the odds, and when that doesn't accomplish what you want, drop the odds and double the price of a ticket.

Sounds like they thinking of making more money by almost eliminating the chances of having to payout a jackpot. It will certainly make some states games more profitable especially if they have better odds for winning jackpots of $20-$50M. Unless they up MM second prize, local games will probably have better odds for prizes amounts.

Dang...I wish Texas would update their Cash 5 game. Jackpots are only about $20,000, parimutuel, and odds are 1 in 435,897. Odds like that should have a payout of at least $100,000.

Why nobody seems to win CA Daily Derby?
More people seem to win Super Lotto Plus than Daily Derby even though Daily Derby has much better odds and drawn everyday. SLP has worse odds and drawn twice a week.

Odds doesn't necessarily mean anything...Remember odds are still averages.. Its possible a few rolls may have the most no of top prizes concentrated and that will skew your math as it shows. I am surprised there are 14 top prizes still remaining as someone hit the top one a few weeks back after a long time..

Congrats man! Glad to hear its paying out for you. I think in the long run it will be a good ticket. Waiting to see how many top prizes there are because according to the GA Lottery site the odds of hitting $1,000,000 are 1 in 666,000 or so and that sounds like really good odds to me. Hopefully one of us hits it big!

Hot Lotto coming to Tennessee May 12Reply
We don't have it in MA so I go to nearby NH to buy advanced play tickets. The game is not bad and thats why I still play it on and off. But on May 12, 2013 the matrix is changing. When that happens then I will only play if I happen to be in a state that carries it. Right now it mirrors 6/49 games in terms of odds and payouts. But after the odds changing it will be like a small MM, yow!
