How Many Tickets Per Drawing DO You Buy
I only buy 1 ticket at a time, here's why. If you buy 0 tickets your chances are 0. If you buy 1 ticket they are about 1 in 147 million. Infinetly better than 0, and it only cost $1. Thus the marginal probability benefit is infinite. If you buy 2 tickets, your chances double, but are still about 1 in 75 million, still effectivly 0, but now my marginal probability benefit is 75million to 1 at a cost of $1. Each ticket you buy gives a smaller marginal probability benefit, and

N.J. is next state to consider bad election lottery idea
By Charles Paolino Home News Tribune, New Jersey Who wants to be a millionaire? That's the question Assemblyman Patrick Diegnan wants to ask potential voters or, at least, that's one way to express the theme of a bill he's proposing in the state Legislature. Diegnan, a Democrat representing the 18th District, is one of two legislators suggesting that a lottery be held each year on Dec. 31 for a million-dollar prize to be awarded a registered voter who cast a ballot that year in a pri

Dowsing for winning Scratch Tickets
I'm new to this forum and would like to pass on to those reading this a personal technique I have been using in selecting Winning scratch tickets. Would you believe I actually dowse for winning scratch tickets? My approach allows me to use a personal reaction to what scratch tickets are available where I purchase them. I've done much better (dollar wise in net winnings) using a personal dowsing technique than just walking up, pointing to a ticket or two and purchasing them with the hope th

Doubles & Triples
This group is alive and kicking already. Someone asked me how do you know what to play even though there are only 5 numbers listed in the results. This is such easy money, my 9 year old can do it, no pun intended. Let's take it back to the old school EEO / OOE If your state has results that show all odds for possible trips i.e. SC SC - ODD trips Bolded number is 555 Then you list the before and after trips and go with it, see: 333, 555, 777 Now you go with the even num

Help on expected hit rate averages
Whats most fascinating to me is how every single Pick 3 game that I've ever tested performs very, very similarly from a probability point of view. Take any amount of consecutive games from any pick 3 game in the country and you will see very similar results when it comes to how many different combos were drawn and/or how many remain to be drawn. The 93.82% can be derived from the following formula. It will give you the probability based on n, which is the number of consecutive games played:

MASS - i got you now! (11/24 - 12/3)
Okay, here's a crap load of picks (62), but Mass is just to funky to predict on a day by day basis. So, we will just throw out some blood bait on a really long trotline and let 'em come to us. There should be around 4 hits in the next 10 days from this list. 0112, 1223, 2334, 3445, 4556, 5667, 6778, 7889 0113, 1224, 2335, 3446, 4557, 5668, 6779 0123, 1234, 2345, 3456, 4567, 5678, 6789 0125, 1236, 2347, 3458, 4569 0144, 1255, 2366, 3477, 4588, 5699 0146, 1257, 2368, 3479
