Election Lottery Proposed in Arizona
I saw this story reported on the ABC overnight news last night. This account came from KVOA in Tucson. I don't think it's a particularly good idea, but it's creative thinking. I really don't think we want to bribe people to get them to participate in the voting process. If people aren't voting, it's probably because they are uninformed and/or unconcerned. I tend to think we should be glad these people are not voting. It might be an invitation for disaster to have such people casting ignorant vot

On the general lotteries forum there's frequently a lot of complaint about whether the numbers are actually random, or they ain't. The visitors and members are able to observe the inconsistencies with odds and randomness, and they often conclude the reason is 'cheating' and 'fudging' on the part of the lottery officials. Maybe sometimes that's the case. But over here in the Mystical Forum many of us have already reached the conclusion that a lot of factors enter in to attempts by man to i

Another hair-brained scheme
Morning Lottomike: You shore hit a lot of pick 5s, 3 out of 5, last night. Whew! I've been keeping an eye on you, young man, wondering what kind of sneakiness you're doing trying to corral those numbers. As for the top 10 list, it mainly seems to me to tell us how little we know. I generally stay in the top 10 on the highest lifetime hit percentages/ pick ratio, ever on Lottery Post. At the moment I be the top guy, at... 2 and some change. Next down is somewhere around 1.8 or so.
