Does anyone here actually turn a profit in the long run?
posted by Luminus You use terms like believe and I don't think and somehow you think that's supposed to mean something? What you believe and think is true is irrelevant. Someone on the planet believes really strongly that the earth is flat. Is the earth flat? You say SPs are a better choice, then go on to say that you won't have a profit without a JP win. How exactly did you determine that SPs are better than QPs, if neither makes a profit? That doesn't make any sense. Let it go. Let'

Vt. Lottery computer glitch creates extra winners
Floyd that is the worst explanation from an expert I ever heard. You re saying the software is the same on the terminals and that is true within a state. The terminals are flexible where they can be upgraded on line and be compatible for new games like Powerball or new state-wide games. No need for a technician to do it onsite. They are too cheap to pay that many people to do a cut-over state-wide. The terminals can be upgraded on-line. You conclude that the terminals having the same software

Lets Dream
That's just it....there is no need to apply theorems as there is no mathematical solution needed or required. Just using simple Basic Math ideas and common sense. Over a period of time and education some people have a problem reverting to basic math and their concepts. Alpha Patterns is nothing nore the letter tracking . E for Even and O for Odd. I use my Pick 3 software and assign 1 to Odd and 2 to Even. For instance last night the 1st three numbers that played were 4-18-25. This equates to

Fooled by Randomness
Jimmy You almost got it but not quite. I am not saying play the rest but to make a selection from the rest. Lets say you played 1 triple every day. You could expect to hit about 1 out of every 1000 plays on average. It could go higher or lower. If You play singles the odds are still 1 in 1000 for any one set / drawing but I think you would agree that 72% of all draws would come from this group while only .001% would come from the triple digit sets. If you play box-any order th

If All 80,000 Members of LP Dedicated to Systems for PB and Pick6 We will Win it Everyday
IF you 2 are done, How do we win this and is it even possible to put egos on hold long enough to get some work done? Step 1, best way to organize a co-opreative venture. This is the groundwork to ensure smooth operations and has NOTHING to do with systems, number selection or therories. Identify possible points of contention and neutralize with creative/common sense solutions. If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. This is a basic outline I came up with for a wor

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
VISIONDUD i know there are tons of people that try and do that these days, hense all those prosperity TV evangelists.but no, can't strong arm God to make it happen . you are either meant to , or you are not (GOD has nothing to do with it) that's pretty funny tech, i gotta say. it's important in life to have self confidence , and fooling yourself into thinking something is true isn't exactly a good life skill to own. truth vs fiction. by smart you mean make it up as you go along crea

Awesome System: The Repeat & Middle System for Pick3
pumpi76 Don't waste your time with this guy, he is making fun of you. I give him one thing he has worked out a very good system of proving everyone else wrong. First he uses us JR-High math skills and a few articles from the net that all agree with his way of thinking. First he uses simple probability to give the odds for any one game which when compared to any lottery history will prove very close to the expected norm. This is something that could be calculated

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
truecritic, Since it is some of the SP layers that are mentioning wheels I think it a safe guess that they play more. Going by sales volume, of course more QPs lose than SPs. Most lottery websites tell us they are 70 to 80% of sales. As for committment , that sounds like something someone would say at a GA meeting. Well, I have a committment to my system . Counselor: You realize every committed line you play is up agains 176 million or 195 million to one odds, yes? As for the

Artificial Intelligence
jimmy What I don't understand is how you can invest $6.00 for your entertainment and then turn around and and accuse me of propagating ignorance . Did you never consider that I do this because I love the chase. The quick picks that you buy come from a system. This system has been designed to pick a random set of numbers. Consider this, How much bias is used to make your QP's random. You cannot have any bias and not call it a system. What If I wrote a program that picked random set

Artificial Intelligence
jimmy True, trying to predict what the next set of numbers will be based on what happened in the last drawing would be useless. lets say I find a group of numbers that has twice as many winning tickets as any other any other group containing the same amount of sets. If I played from that group based on the odds I have just as good of chance of hitting as I would any other group. However if the group continues to out perform the other groups then I will have a better chance of hitt
