Why can't I ever get a good win on scratch tickets?Reply
A relative just won $5k/week for life on a $10 scratcher. He sold off his grocery store to the grocer across the street. On his last day, he tried his luck and beat the odds.Ifcourse, I would rather buy 10 SweetMillion lines for $10 reducing my odds to 1:383k instead of 1 scratch ticket.

agree on the odds...I must have played the $10 $250 million mania about 20 times and I am still to win anything on it... $200 loss right there in past 3 weeks..what else do you play? The Set for Life has horrible odds for all prizes..

That's too bad James those sound like my results lately. I'll buy like 5-6 tickets and lose and look at the back and the odds will be stated as like 1:2.6. They post the remaining prizes in Maryland online but I wish they would print how many losing tickets to verify the odds are correct.

You are misreading the odds on that chart. They are saying the odds of the winning 5+1 combination being among your 200K combinations are 1:879 not 75% and your odds of picking the winning combination from them could be zero. You made an assumption that the charts shows is not true. If you physical have 200K combinations, check them again with previous drawings. When MM had a jackpot of a half billion dollars, don't you think if players had a 75% chance of winning it with only 200K of tickets

Well in my state I play Mass Cash where you need to get 5 numbers out of 35 to win the prize of 100K. One would think those odds are very good to eventually win the 100K but it hasn't worked out for me the most I eve won on that game was 10 dollars by getting 3 out of 5 numbers. I still play because it does have better odds than MM or PB (which I also play).

im probably not understanding the question correctly but youve already given your odds by saying you'll hit 75% of the time. The amount of tickets played becomes moot at that point. If you play only 1 ticket or 10 million tickets each draw if you hit 75% of the time your odds of hitting in any given draw are .75:1

The odds are just to high on you Winning the Jackpot . But , The odds are so much better on you're States games( Easy 5 . Take 5 , Fantasy 5 , Cash 5 . Little Lotto , Lotto , Mega Money and Etc . ). . You could make more money in the Long Run !!!

The problem with MM the odds of winning are higher 2,986,522 compare to F5 376,992. The last 6 winners 5 are QP. I think your odds winning is better with F5.

I want to spend around $500. on a single Mega drew. Should I use 500 different sets of numbers with a single favorite Mega number, or use 10 sets of numbers and all 46 mega numbers with each?

Well before someone comes in here and says that the odds do not change what ever numbers you play are, Yes given the peramiters you have set your odds have lowered by a considerable amount.
