"Your Methodology Of Purchasing Instant Scratch Tickets"
I only buy tickets that are eligible for second chance drawings, thereby increasing my overall odds of winning something. My favorites are the $2 patriots and $5 wheel of fortune. Also, If I see the code srx on any ticket, I buy the next one as Ive discovered the odds of the next one being a winner are much better than after any other code.

Is 50 Million Dollars Not Enough??
I didn't play because they doubled the price of a ticket, but the odds only went from 1 in 195 million to 1 in 175 million. Better odds my ass.

For those who put too much money into the lottery...
But sometimes you just have to buy that extra ticket. I know it doesn't increase my odds, but it makes me feel better. I see the odds, but I don't care. It's like that second piece of pie, sometimes you just have to eat it.

Kentucky: 2/1 - 2/29/2012
i hate to say it but this ky lottery seems like they might be a little cheating going on what would the odds be for the exact same pick 3 and 4 numbers be drawn on 2 diffrent draws only 6 draws apart or another way to look at it picking 7 numbers out of 70 2 times in less than a week the odds would probally be in the hundreds of millions if not billions looks like they messed up and got busted

Words of Encouragement: To Teens & Crooks: Just 2 Numbers= $2 Billion dollars
pumpi, why would the odds go from 200 million to 400 million? the price of the ticket only went up, which has no affect on the odds.

Are pre-draws corrupting your lottery strategy ?
The odds are always 1 in 1000 for a straight combination, or, if there are some very tiny weight/shape differences - or even physics differences with where each ball was thrown in, etc. There are some non - random factors but the net result of all of this is that as long as the balls are all fairly weighted, in fair machinery without malfunction, the odds are always 1 in 1000 for any straight. Don't mistake that for me saying after 1000 draws, we will see all of the straights. Degrees of

Powerball multi-state lottery to raise prices, jackpots
I think you could be wrong. It's Mega Millions with Better odds of winning that usually has Jackpots greater than 300 million. Powerball never gets so high before there is a winner with the current odds.

Powerball multi-state lottery to raise prices, jackpots
I definitely won't be playing Powerball nearly as much as I have in the past. I like being able to buy 5 lines for $5. I don't like spending more than $5 a ticket on Powerball. This means on the rare occasion that I actually do play Powerball, I'll only be spending $4 for 2 lines. Better odds my butt. Because the price is doubling, the odds for the majority of people who play this game will become at least twice as hard.

Massachusetts Lottery conducts $10M Raffle draw
Gee I would have bought a ticket online if I could have. I don't understand why they didn't sell them out. Those top prizes are higher and the odds better than Michigan $20 scratchers (top prize money odds)

Powerball multi-state lottery to raise prices, jackpots
This move could make local games more attractive. There are probably plenty of players who would be happy to just spend a $1 for better odds of being a millionaire rather than $2 for worst odds of being a multi-millionaire.
