These Texas lawmakers are making it hard for players to play and creating laws that players don't want, as if there will be no consequences and players will just accept it. Games like the Pick 3 4 have nothing to do with people buying jackpots which is what started this whole mess. All they had to do was create a rule limiting the number of combos you can buy in jackpot games only. I care more about their results than their words. Their results show they don't care about what TX players want

The average jackpot size when it is won will be higher (approximately double) because the higher ticket price has a higher contribution to the jackpot, with nearly the same odds of winning. It won't grow fast when it's low because it's so expensive. I'm surprised anyone is playing. I guess there are a lot of people out there who have been playing the same numbers for 20 years and can't stop.

That's a true statistic, and very unusual because according to the odds, triples should occur once every 100 draws. Virginia Pick 3 went from August 25, 2024, to June 4, 2025 without triples drawn (2 draws per day).
