Florida Fantasy 5 3/21
Yep. This just goes to show how consecutive numbers have the same chance at being hit as any other set of numbers. I remember reading some sites where they give tips on how to better your odds and it's almost always mentioned not to play numbers like 1-2-3-4-5 or 11-22-33-44-55 because the odds of that happening are completely outrageous (even though they have the same chance of 1-6-23-38-49).

Playing the Extra Dollar on the Jackpot Games
I like the power play on both games myself ... unless the dollars get a little short and I cut that extra dollar off for a few plays ... still have the games covered though. I try to always have the extra dollar on Power Ball ... for two reasons (in my figuring odds) ... first, when PB changed the game some years back, adding more regular numbers but removing some PB numbers ... I figure the odds are a little better maybe just getting a PB hit with a multiplier to get some money back ... of cour

Florida Raffle Ticket $10 with 7 (700,000) Prizes
New Scratch offs are coming as well as a Raffle. It will be a 10.00 ticket and have 7 (700,000) prizes. I have not seen the odds but I am guessing that they may want to cap the sales so there would be a 1 : 200,000 or better chance to win the top prize. From the other raffles I have seen that is about where the odds were placed. So when the odds come out we can post them and should see that these odds would be better than any Scratch-off or Lotto/Powerball game. I can't belive more scratch-of

has anyone ever sued the lottery for misleading on scratchers?
This is the misconception for many scratch off players....Although the odds are 1 in 4 for example, that doesnt mean out of every 4 tickets there will be a winner. There could be 20 losers in a row, then on the next book of tickets there could be 5 winners in a row. Like others stated above, the odds posted are for the entire pool of tickets created for that game.

Cool 100,000
I agree, this game has always been horrible. I've gone to plenty of locations in my area and have bought plenty of tickets, coming empty. It has been the worst game with the best odds for the $5 games. I think it's better to stay away from this game and just let it go.. Golden Goose has worse odds, and I rarely play it, but last month I got $500!!!

Need a new strategy and motivation
I look at Scratchers realistically. They are not designed for you to make a profit, on the contrary, they are designed for you to lose money in the long run. But they do have much better payback overall than the regular draw/jackpot lottery games. We're all just trying to keep playing until we hit some big wins to get out ahead of the odds. Look at it this way: All state lotteries are only designed to give the public back only about 50% of what it gambles. If you are playing a long time are a

Small Jackpots vs Big Jackpots
I clicked the $1-2 million, though my playing is not limited to that nor does that mean I don't like either the higher or smaller prizes. But the long and short of it is that it is a life changing event if I can stuff a million in my pocket, and the odds of winning a million are far better than the odds of winning $200 million. I'll play more money toward the lower jackpots such a $2 million.
