Firefox users: You can get EV support for secure pages
I posted last week about Lottery Post's new EV certificate, which is an advanced type of certificate that ensures that you are dealing with a fully-vetted (i.e., legitimate) company.
EV certficates are currently supported in IE7, and they will be supported in the near future in Firefox 3 and Opera.
However, Firefox 1.5 and 2.0 users can get EV support right now, by installing a simple plug-in.
I have installed and tested the plug-in myself, and it seems to work perfectly. Now when I go

You would think that since you do play the lottery you would have grand aspirations to create vast amounts of wealth and power.
Why? Because you would have grand aspirations to create vast amounts of wealth and power? Please don't project your own thinking onto others. Not everyone looks at the world in the same way.
I'm guessing that you are quite young. I've been retired many years. The way I look at things is quite different than you do. Vast amounts of wealt

Official gets 8 years at home for rigging lottery
A judge sentenced a former Hoosier Lottery security official to eight years of home detention for revealing to two men the store where they could buy a winning $1 million scratch-off ticket.
William C. Foreman, 62, faced up to 50 years in prison but accepted an agreement in which he pleaded guilty to a single felony count of disclosing confidential lottery information. Marion Superior Court Judge Grant Hawkins sentenced him to 20 years and then suspended 12 years.

Protection after a huge jackpot lottery win
I would probably wait no less than 2 weeks to claim the ticket. I would actually give my boss a notice. I like him. I would probably just tell him I was moving back home to be with my ageing parents.
During that time, I would disconnect the house phone, and then the cell phones, replacing them with a new service with new numbers under my daughter's name. Send change of address for my important mail to a PO Box. Then put the house mail on vacation hold. I would also check into some temporary a

Will you play lotto with your Tax Rebate check?
This is what I found so far about it.
People who do not make enough to pay taxes but had at least $3,000 in earned income would get $300. Those earning less than that would be disqualified, as would the wealthiest. Older people living solely off Social Security checks would not get the rebate.
Individuals with adjusted gross incomes of more than $75,000 and couples with income exceeding $150,000 would get smaller checks. Contributions to individual retirement accounts, 401(k) retirement ac

Tennessee Lottery glitch parade marches on
I think this is pretty minor, Hawkins said. It was in place for less than 24 hours, and I don't think it caused any consumer issues. She said the home page of the Web site is the only place the clock is featured. All other lottery materials show the correct Jan. 22 drawing date.
Opps! But anybody can make a mistake.
Last September, Hawkins reported a misprint on Lotto 5, Cash 3 and Cash 4 tickets that showed the Powerball jackpot as $29 million instead of $15 million.
Opps! But a

Should one play if they have others feeding them
Thanks, rcb. Sometimes I forget to quote someone too.
Those hillbillies on the porch, drinking booze and whatever, for the most part, don't even see doctors until its too late. A great deal of public health care money goes to paying for such people near the end of their lives. Meaning, they walk in and see a doctor for some ailement, and find out they have end stage cancer. Something that requires surgery, hospital stays, etc. One of the great aims of national health insurance is to p

Should tax payers be paid back after a win
Reply Edit Delete Favorites Bottom
Just a conversation I had with hubby and some friends..
We know several people who get public assistance... Food stamps, Welfare Checks.. etc...
(You meet all types, when you note vehicles for a living.. )
However, suppose one hits the big one... yes they do gamble with our tax money we give them to feed their children...
Should they be required to pay back all the assistance they have received...
A social Security number

No Buying Tickets For Lottery Retailers
No protection is ever 100% and it would be foolish to think it so.
The idea is more often then not lottery customers return to the same location where they bought their tickets to have it scanned to determine if they are winner and of course to buy tickets for the next draw.
This is the point of oppertunity for a clerk to announce a lower prize win, pay off in cash and then claim the prize as if the legitimate owner of the ticket.
As big wins are investigated, it would be quickly det

My $35Million
So let's say you find that special lady and she leaves her career for you. No matter what career it is, she is still giving up a regular income which adds to her social security benefits, IRA, including and the opportunity to meet someone else and start a family.
Then she shouldn't give up her career.
It's not just you - for some reason, there are a lot of men who dream about meeting a woman who will serve all his needs..a woman who looks like Heidi Klum, can cook, be great in bed
