Best method to win the $130 million jackpot?
You can double your odds cheaply if you only buy one ticket by buying another one, but if you buy 100 tickets it could get expensive doubling your odds because you have to buy another 100 tickets.

Raffles, IL halloween coming up. Is it better to buy like 10 at a time once a week or one a day?
Neither. The odds are the same. The only way to improve your odds is to buy more tickets.

My digit system for pick-5 or pick-6 lottery
RL-RANDOMLOGIC,
You said, Wake UP jimmy!!!!! You are the one in the wrong. You need to ask yourself what Odds really are.
'The ratio of the probability of occurrence of an event to the probability of the event not occurring.'
Learn what is being said here.
I'm trying, really I am. Let's see now, IF we let P represent the probability of the occurrence of an event, traditionally represented as a Real number, 0 = P = 1, THEN, the probability of an event NOT occurring would be (1 - P).

If All 80,000 Members of LP Dedicated to Systems for PB and Pick6 We will Win it Everyday
So you're saying using all 59 WB and 39 PB in my number pool with QPs and increasing my odds of winning to 1:195,249,054 instead of 1:23,892,176 would have improved my odds of winning?

Florida Lottery holding back winning scratchers?
Maybe you guys should consider (if you're going to buy 2 or 3 $20 tickets at a time) buying the same tickets... from the same roll... Odds would be a lot better. you would increase your odds of winning... say $100 from 1:30 (sample only) to 1:10. Just something to consider.

Fooled by Randomness
The general consensus here seems to be that PB and MM type games are Harder to win than Pick-5 6 games, apparently because people believe they are not as predictable. (I could be wrong on this point.)
Just looking at the odds of matching 5 numbers without the bonus numbers is enough reason for me to choose a 5/39 game over 5/56 or 5/59 games. It's almost seven times harder in MM and nine times for PB. If that's not reason enough, matching 4 numbers is five and six times harder but the prize

Mega jackpot is right where I would want to win
Actually when I've played PowerBall I have done better than when I played MegaMillions even though the odds are better. With fewer bonus balls, PowerBall overall odds of a win are better which favor the lower tiers winners. Staying within my budget limits me to only playing one of those games so I play the one with the higher jackpot.

POLL - On The Whole Do The Lotteries Provide Truly Random Numbers?
If they weren't, someone would have come up with a way to regularly beat their odds of winning which assumes the numbers are random. Players are always analyzing past drawings results trying to come up with an edge so a lack or randomness were be quickly noticed and exploited. Anyone consistently beating the odds would probably be investigated by the lotteries also.

Florida Lottery holding back winning scratchers?
I bought numerous $20 Lucky 200,000 year scratchers when it first came out but was getting all losers so I stopped buying them. I have been sticking with Billion Blockbuster since I had good wins from it last year and the $20 Monopoly since odds are great. Unfortunately not having any luck this year. Must be buying them in the wrong place at the wrong time as I am playing the tickets with the best odds and limit myself to no more than 4 tickets per day, usually 3 though.
