My digit system for pick-5 or pick-6 lottery
RL, I completely agree with this statement. It's why I play the lottery. A lottery player considers the odds but plays anyway, Kind of like a certain paint store worker that may of considered the odds but choose to sing anyway. And as Forest would say that's all I got to say about that This, however, contradicts the above. A person will win or lose not based on the odds but on the ticket he or she holds in their hand. Either you believe the odds are against you, an

What Prize Do You Focus On?
I like mega millions and powerball, when MM was at 336 Million last year that's what got me into it. but the odds for me to win anything relevant are crazy. I still play $1 each mega and PB drawing just to be in it. But now im more focused on pick 3/4 and my states pick 5 game. I just like the better odds.

A few quick questions from someone new
Those are horrible odds for a $10 ticket. If I were you (since you are in GA) I would play the $10 Jumbo Jumbo Bucks. The overall odds are roughly 1:2.5. That would be your best option. Usually the high $$ tickets payout A LOT better than the lower priced tickets. I would rather go big or go home. I would take a win of $20 over a free $2 ticket any day.

Anyone play craps?
It's actually Don't Come bets I think. On each roll you place an odds bet on the last roll's Don't Come outcome, and place a new Don't Come bet. When a seven hits you get paid on each odds bet and number you have played. It's definitely a more challenging way to play, just to keep up with the action.

Top 10 "Reasons" why the Powerball Lottery is a scam...!
Please STOP the Whining (complaining in a childish way): You did the Math: You Know the Odds: Like Everyone Else: If You Don't Like the Odds: Don't Play: but Please STOP the Whining!

Powerball or Megamillions The odds are against you..
Do not let math fool you. MEGA MILLIONS 1 in 175 millions odds to win the jackpot, and POWERBALL 1 in 195 millions odds to win the jackpot. Someone will win, that is a fact.

"Lotto Texas" Now At $89 MILLION ($57.9 Million Cash)
The Lotto Texas game is now at a huge $89 Million or $58 Million cash level. That's quite an amount considering the odds are only 25 million to 1 against you. Nice, really nice. Kinda makes me wish I could drive over there and play a few bucks. California's SuperLotto jackpot hasn't been that high for years and the odds are twice as bad.

Don't Let Math Prevent You From Winning The Lottery
When you buy more than one ticket, you're no longer concerned about the odds of one ticket winning but the odds of a winning ticket being in your pool of tickets, that's the reason many players join a pool.

Lotto Texas
All Texas games use mechanical ball machines. Lotto Texas uses solid balls that drop and the other games use hollow balls that rise to the top of the machine. The jackpot rolled again, for the 54th time, extending the record run. Cash value is more than twice the odds. The odds are 1:25,827,165. I checked the latest estimated jackpot calculation document and it shows that the sales per draw have been in the range of 3 to 3.4 million, usually higher for the Saturday draws. Given those numbers

Anyone play craps?
There are a number of good casinos along the MS gulf coast -- just East of Biloxi. Some of the hotels there are really nice, so you can make a few days of it (or a week), and you can hit a number of good casinos during your time there. All the casinos allow a top odds bets of 10x on the craps tables, which is great. (Maybe an even higher odds bets in recent years? It's been a while.)
