International super lottery to create jackpots of $500 million or more
The story just says $500 million or more. It does not give us any insight on the rarity that amount will be reached. For example, it doesn't give us the size of the matrix, so we don't know how it compares to Powerball and Megamillions as far as odds go. For all we know, the odds of winning the jackpot could be 1 in 800 million and the starting jackpot could be $100 million.

Powerball lottery jackpot up to $81M for Wed.
When the matrix changes, I will no longer play. The odds were high to begin with and now...it just seems pointless. I will focus my energies on games with better odds.

Pennsylvania Lottery's new Quinto game starts tomorrow
I would like to see this in Texas. The Cash 5 game here is not that great considering the jackpot runs between 25k and 35k, rarely over 30k, and the odds are almost 436,000 to 1. And Cash 5 is paramutual. 100,000 to 1 odds for 50k looks pretty attractive by comparison.

I can get closer to a win doing just all ODD/Evens
Did you play all odds on the two drawings? If I had a bit more money to play with, I would maybe wheel a set of all evens or odds on one of the lottery games here.

Lottery Odds
Well, the odds of winning on a 6-way box is 1 in 167, and it's even longer for straight plays and boxed doubles. If you're looking for the culprit for your losing streak, that's it, you have to beat long odds to win anything. But if it helps at all, the few times you do win, you win big.

So I just plugged in my usual numbers to past results..
I wouldn't. I'd tweak it a bit with another meaningful number or two. The odds of 5+1 hitting are astronomical already; the odds of it happening twice are several orders of magnitude worse.

would you play last weeks winning numbers in this weeks draw
The question isn't worded very well because it's playing last weeks numbers in this weeks draw . There are two drawings every week so while the odds against 5 of those 10 numbers hitting in the next draw with either of the PBs is extremely high, the odds of 1 or some of them being drawn is less than 5 to 1 (45 to 10).

Thanks CarBob ....you give me too much credit really. I really do think that its better to go after the best odds and know on those particular days anyway .......you were really really close. At least compared to all the ones that didn't have a snowballs that day. Yeap... 95% better odds is hard to beat. That's my best shot at a working filter system anyway ...... as an outsider. At least until I can study and know some other things about the pick 5 game.....and i may never get around

It looks to me as if playing at all mixed combinations .....you really never know how close you were to a win ....unless you hit one or two numbers. Other than a hit ......how close were you on your other tickets ?? There is no way to Gage the level of how close they were. Let's just say you played 20 tickets and hit on 3 of them ..... 1 number hit on one .... 1 on the 2nd.... and 2 on the 3rd. and the other 17 tickets you hit nothing. How close did you get on the tickets that did not

Ohio Rolling Cash5 jackpot at $324,000
Honestly, I don't see how a game with 1 in 175,711,536 odds is a valid test of ANY system. There is simply no system or method that is going to make any difference against such odds. I'd hate to see you consider your system invalid because it can't beat a game that it had no chance of beating in the first place.
