NY Lotto Extra game
I do. It does, indeed, better your odds, just not your jackpot odds. You do, however, win smaller prizes a lot more often.

Tn. Lotto Five
You're confusing Tennessee Pick5 with those in other states like Ohio that pays $1 for a 2/5. Most pick5 games have overall odds of 1:10 of winning a prize while Tennessee is 1:100 and their 3/5 doesn't pays any better than most which pays $10. With PowerBall overall odds of 1:37 of winning something, I bet it's a more popular game in the state.

Futility
I had 5 of 5 a few yrs. ago (but low payout) but I did beat odds at the time of 500,000 to 1 per ticket played (played 2) so I beat odds of 250K to 1. Using a program. It CAN be done and the better your system is the better your chances. Those who say it's luck live in RNG states or they need to write a better program.

Statistics question
If you find the missing zero let me know, I calculated that by hand using some information I found on the Internet about calculating Keno Odds. I plan to write the routine in GWBasic and add it to my ODDS calculation program since Ohio is coming out with a Keno game called Ten OH! next week.

What kinds of programs do have available for a $1 each? If you have an odds calculators that calculates odds for regular games with and without bonus numbers, keno and pick3/4 games I might be interested.

Lottery mathematics
I have some questions. What are the odds of having a Mega Millions draw (5/56+1/46) become a California Super Lotto Plus Pick (5/47+1/27)? What are the odds of having a Powerball draw (5/55+1/42) become a California Super Lotto Plus Pick (5/47+1/27)? I need to know the exact percentage of a MM and PB draw to become a CA SLP pick.

Kentucky Lottery raffle drawing date set
i think you are right todd because if they sold all 500,000 tickets then the odds of winning one of the $500,000 top prizes was 1 in 250,000 so if they only end up selling 400,000 tickets then the odds will change to 1 in 200,000...

Kansas Lottery sets sales record
Apparently people would rather play the games with better odds. 27% is a big drop in sales. Another news article on LP reports that a woman won $12.9M in Hot Lotto. That game has odds of 1 in 10.9M as opposed to 1 in 146M for PB.

Pennsylvania Lottery Millionaire Raffle results
Yeah it is pretty sad for game with such good so-called odds of winning, only to return a ZERO percent payback for the price of $20 a ticket. Even more sad that I usually receive more of a payback simply by playing one powerball, with so-called odds that are ridiculous.

Trash diving
I tell this to as many people as I can.
The Odds Are The Reality.
Dedication is one thing. Reality is another.
The odds are the reality. Read into it whatever you want to...bottom line...it's the odds.
You can have the best system in the world....with only ten sets of numbers to play. It doesen't matter. There are still many many many more possibilities out there not taken into account. As in the p-3, playing the best top ten sets, there are still 990 other possibilities that can com
