If you buy 10 PB tickets, your odds of winning something according the information on the back of an Indiana play slip are 1:7 and your odds of matching 3+0 are 1:29 or about once every 3½ months. The most I've bought PB tickets is 4 times per year since I have to travel to Indiana for them but I buy MM tickets most every week since they're sold here in Ohio.

justxploring, Let's revisit your 100 combo game, since it seems to be an easy example. The key is that odds are ratios are fractions. They are all the same. You can reduce a fraction. 30/90 is the same as 9/27 is the same as 1/3. Therefore you can also reduce odds. If you buy 5 tickets for your game, you can express the odds of winning as 5 in 100. Or 5/100...it's a fraction. You can reduce this to 1/20. It's perfectly valid to say that the odds are 1 in 20 of winning on five d

Prob988 what is the probabilty of someone winning a PB MM Jackpot in the same week. The odds of hitting one jackpot is crazy odds, but two in one week.? Thats stupid crazy.

In a 6/49 game the odds of having all six winning numbers among any randomly selected 24 numbers is 1 time in 103 tries. The odds of having all 6 winning numbers among any group of 18 is 1 in 753. The odds of having all 6 winning numbers among any group of 12 is 1 in 15,134. The odds of having all 6 winning numbers among any group of 36 is 1 in 7. Not as easy as you might think. BobP

Yes, the Illinois pick 5, with 28 tickets, although, I did not play my winning ticket. I havent played that game since....lol But, when I do, Ill be 10x better and smarter about it. However, the odds have changed in that state and I dont live there anymore. My current state has better odds than IL. IL broke my heart with that change

i like the odds of the new game i just dont like the fact that sales are not that fast because i think they still havent sold 300,000 and we are almost a month into it. i dont want to have to wait 4 months to have the drawing and if it takes too long i dont want them to cut it off early and really mess up the odds of winning a million.

I actually considered moving north to W. VA because their CA$H 25 has the lowest odds of any pick 6 game in the country. It dosn't pay millions, but i'll take better odds over millions any day of the week.

Tony95, i think the odds are higher if you do it the following day...The question should be what are the odds of doing it twice and in a row...Couple of people have done it twice but not the following day, which is hard..I don't know is just my opinion..
