Idaho's biggest lottery winner knew he would win
Does anybody else notice anything strange about Brad Duke's winning ticket from May 2005? I did a search for Brad Duke 2012 and Brad Duke 2005 and found two different videos showing close ups of his winning ticket. The video from 2005 as well as the recent one this month both show a four-line ticket purchased for $4. The lines appear to be labeled A . . . B . . . D . . . and . . . E. What happened to Line C? The winning numbers are on the second line, Line B. How might somethin

Make the rich pay their fair share comes from the current government using class warfare. Having a billionaire pay more does nothing for me. Get rid of entitlements period, welfare..plain and simple ,YOU DON'T GET NONE !!!!!! $200 MILLION: New Powerball delivers huge lottery jackpot
I like Kumo's list, as my wife and I have lots of discussion about our cover story, regarding various business ideas we would pursue if we had the funding. (I left a corporate job a few years ago for a start-up that fell apart in a 2nd round of financing.) As I heard long ago from a previous lottery winner on TV (I think from Texas): Money may not change you, but it changes the people around you. Which is why it is so important to keep your win a secret. To protect ourselves and our kid

$14.3 million Hot Lotto prize claim withdrawn
The evidence was minimal. Lottery officials have an in-store security video recording of the ticket being purchased. They have said the tape clearly shows the sale, but they have declined to describe the appearance or gender or offer any other identifying information about the buyer. Shaw presented lottery officials with a copy of the Hexham trust agreement, but lottery officials say it did not give them the information they needed to release the prize. Lottery officials declined a Des Moi

Winners who lose it all
TDS12, True, lottery winners are still human, BUT.......just do a search here at LP for Jack Whitaker (West Virginia, black cowboy hat, record MM jackpot at the time), or David Lee Edwards (pretty sure that's his name). Whitaker, already welathy from his construction business, would go to strip clubs while it was known he had hundreds of thousands of dollars cash in the trunk of his car. He got rolled a few times. Big surprise. So yeah, we can call that stupid. Flat out stupid. The Davi

I have deleted the comments posted in this thread about a virus somehow coming from Lottery Post. There are no viruses coming from Lottery Post in any form. Lottery Post is a Web site. This is not where your virus(es) come from. They typically come through your e-mail inbox, when you get an e-mail and click on the attachment. You need to understand that when you say you got a virus from Lottery Post, there are some people who will believe you, regardless of the fact that your claim is outr

Unclaimed Iowa lottery jackpot to expire Dec. 29
Even if claimed, winner gets $2M less due to fallen interest rates Time appears to be running out on somebody's multimillion-dollar lottery payday. Terry Rich, chief operating officer of the Iowa Lottery, said Tuesday the one-month countdown has begun for a Hot Lotto ticket that matched the jackpot numbers in last year's Dec. 29 drawing. The winning ticket was purchased at a Des Moines convenience store and will expire this Dec. 29 if the prize isn't claimed by then, he said. It is sad

Prize money awarded to rightful lottery ticket holder
On August 29, Piyushkumar Patel, Bhatt's son-in-law, tried to cash the ticket at the Lottery's headquarters in Nashville. At that time, lottery officials conducted investigation and discovered what had happened. Bhatt and Patel were arrested and charged with felony theft over $60,000. We have a number of safeguards in place to protect our players and maintain the integrity of the Lottery, Rebecca Hargrove, President and CEO of the Tennessee Lottery said in a release.
