To MUSL and the Mega group
On second thought, I think MM and PB should keep the odds where it is or increase the odds against winning a jackpot. I think they should keep it at $1 (except $2 for PP).

To MUSL and the Mega group
Grow a spine and raise the price of the ticket to $2. Eventually it will be your only real option since raising the odds are a loosing game after a while. Jackpots were low in the Canadian 6/49 rarely reaching $12 million and sales were low and stagnant. They raised the price to $2 from $1. Many complained and whined. Now jackpots routinely break $20 million in cash and sales are fine. Euromillions started with a 2 euro ticket and holds the world record for highest cash prize with odds 100 m

Maddogs Mega Millions Challenge 9/29
The odds of catching a 1+1 match in MegaMillions are 140 to 1. If you can do it consistently with ten lines, I'd say you're beating expectation. It's not quite in the money making range, but it's a move in the right direction. You might get even closer if you continue to refine your methods or just stick with them as they are for a while. In a big odds game like MegaMillions, prediction skills must be augmented with patience and persistence.

What was the deal with Powerball?
The odds of 7 and 8 coming up twice in two draws is astronomical!! I got one number, so I guess the odds of that one number coming up in Saturdays draw is pretty good. The good news is, I don't have to waste my gas to go to PA to buy another ticket.

Has This Ever Happened To You?
Since I pick and check my numbers using a computer, I have a record of all the combinations I've played until I delete them. Occasionally I recheck some of my old picks before I delete them and so far none would have won big if I had kept playing them. I think the odds of having played a combination that would have won are not much better than the odds of playing a combination that will win.

your favorite lottery game (poll)
I don't actually play the West Virginia Cash25 because I live in Mid-Ohio but I like picking combinations for it on the prediction board because it's the easiest pick-6 game in the country. It has the smallest number field and the lowest odds. The player chooses six numbers from 1 to 25. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1:177,100. Eighty-one percent of all the winning numbers drawn have been in the previous six drawings up to 5 times. Ninety-seven percent of the winning combinations h

oklahoma cash 5 is a joke
True, but the odds of that happening are 1:376992 which mean they will likely have given out 376,992 free QPs with odds of getting one being 1:8 means they will have likely sold $3,015,936 worth of losing tickets before that happens. That's a deal the state can well afford.

Something I hope we never see
The best secondary prize I could get is in a 5/54 + 2/12 game without having the odds being way to high. Odds of that game would be 1:208 million for the primary jackpot and could easily support a $2.4 million annuity for a 54 + 1/12 win. Don't look for such creativity out of the Mega group however.

Just, Dang it!
I like that answer, Pretty much says everything i had in mind. Definitly don't come into the game blindfolded, if you can narrow the odds down then go for it....be creative. I've managed to narrow it down to 22 numbers i had to play in the past to just 11 and I'm still figuring out ways to lower those odds to which time of the day one of those 11 are going to come out.

4 out of 5's
It's tough, but NJ is techinally the toughest to hit anything at. It's a 5/40, and you have to get 3 out of 5 to win anything, for overall odds of 1 in 107. Your Roadrunner Cash requires a 3 of 5 or better, but it's only a 5/34, so the odds are 1 in 66.
