Two months after he returned a lost lottery ticket worth $500 to its rightful owner, a South Carolina man won a $586,000 Palmetto Cash 5 jackpot.
A South Carolina man knew he was going to be rewarded at some point down the road after he found and returned a $500 winning lottery ticket.

Powerball drawing produces huge number of big winners, including two who split the jackpot
Maybe someone should create a forum or blog where people can upload their state's Powerball bet slips. I assumed they were all the same. I use an app on my phone to check the results of the big games. When I saw that they were 89 match 5 winners, I thought it was a typo! I've never seen an amount like that.
Cash For Life has been retired and Millionaire for Life has replaced it without a jackpot winner. More than double the ticket price for what seems like worse odds

Quads may come out, who knows with the numbers. It's just that the odds are not that good but who knows.
According to the above statement I found with a triple being a trigger, we had 4888 on May 9th.

Michigan $733,968 Fantasy 5 jackpot winner wins again, this time a $1M Millionaire Raffle prize
I really liked the odds of the Millionaire Raffle game, so I bought several tickets, the winner explained to the Lottery. I won a $366,984 Fantasy 5 jackpot prize just over a year ago, so when I logged into my Lottery account and saw a notification that I'd won the $1 million Millionaire Raffle prize, I was in total disbelief that I'd won big again!
I stand to be corrected, but this sure does feel and sound like a Lottery Post member
Nway, whoever you are, congratulations on the win.

Balancing Odds and Cost 😁
Yes, those odds are correct. You can only win one of the prizes (the highest one for which you qualify).
I see you're trying to calculate the last one. 58 choose 5 is 4,582,116. However, in order to win the second prize, you have to not match the millionaire ball. There are 5 of them, so the probability of not matching that is 4/5.
1/4582116*4/5 equals 1/5727645

Where I live we don't have the double play option, but when I travel somewhere where it's offered, I always play it.
The 10M double play jackpot is very elusive, but doesn't hurt to give it a shot.
It's apparent l, so far, that even with the better odds, MFL is not the favorite option

Balancing Odds and Cost 😁
Last summer I was in Texas for vacation, I bought a 15 draw Texas Lotto ticket, the jackpot was in the 30M range. I did not win the jackpot .
But you are right, at $1 a draw even with the odds it feels ok. Where I live the state doesn't tax the lottery, so a 1M win would be 630K, which is a very decent win.
I add the extra $1 for the power play to make it 1,260,000 after taxes, now that sounds very good
Good luck on your upcoming draws and Happy Birthday in advance.

Powerball. I'm a two dolla balla. Sometimes $3 if I'm feeling spicy and adding double play.
I wouldn't reward the increases in price with my $5 even if I had money to spend freely. It's also the principle of the thing, and choosing to pay for the one that didn't go up in price while not giving a sale to the one that did.
Odds aren't good for any of them. I get a powerball once in a while as a dream and a what if. I can do that twice at $2/3 rather than once for $5.
