Ontario lottery to be investigated
The Ontario Ombudsman will investigate allegations about insiders winning a disproportionate number of lotteries to restore public trust in the province's lottery corporation.
Andr Marin said yesterday that allegations that more than 200 ticket retailers or clerks have won prizes of more than $50,000 in the past seven years have cast a large shadow over the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. and brought into question its actions.
He said he had received few complaints from lottery-tic

lottolaughs! - 111, 222, 13, what about 888?
lottolaughs....
Maybe this spills over into the mystical, but there's a woman on radio sometimes called The Number Lady . Whenever she's on she always talks about the number 8 - carry a number 8 in your wallet, 8 is the number for financial prosperity, etc....
I was just wondering if you took one of your workouts and tried 888, or 8 as the didigt to add to the numbers, digit by digit, if it'd show positive results.

Orange Ball Help...
Never mind about the orange ball being last drawn and making the guaranteed profit. It looks like they did learn after all. They don't remove the drawn ball from the bin anymore.
See what I found. It is a shame we have to go hunting for stuff like this because they don't air the (midday) drawings and you can't see what is going on...

Anonymity has always been a popular topic on this board. I've lived in several states including MA, NH and now FL and I don't think there's anyway to keep your name out of the public records, even with a Trust. Maybe I'm not recalling the NH laws correctly, since I never won enough to worry about them. But I thought that no matter how your money is cl

a poll about annuities and lump sum
Floridian, you took the age comment completely wrong! An annuity is often a good way to protect yourself from losing everything should you become ill. However, if someone continues to receive payments as income from a lottery, I don't think that money is protected because it is income. You are actually receiving the interest only on an investment. Someone over 70 might want to contact an attorney to make sure Long Term Care and other important issues are addressed. Also, when you die if yo

Online gambling bill stuck, but it's not over yet
Efforts to win congressional passage of a bill to ban most forms of Internet gambling by tacking it onto a must-pass bill hit a roadblock Tuesday, but aides said Republican backers are exploring other ways to make it law.
Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John Warner, a Virginia Republican, raised a strong objection to attaching any unrelated legislation to a pending defense bill, which has been viewed by supporters of the gambling bill as a prime vehicle for it.

Anyhow I made it in such a way that I could save it and upload it as a picture.
Now it is easy for everybody to save the picture and also print it.
For those who might not know how:
Put the mouse's cursor on the picture and Rth click your mouse then put the cursor on Save Pic

Poll - RNG, auditors and game fraud
come on Floyd
In RNG programs a programmer can make whatever numbers he wants to come out on any particular day. he can set the program up in ways no one would have the foggiest idea of what's going on. the program could work in many ways selecting and deselecting numbers that have been bet and drawing whatever number is being bet the least. or drawing a number that would pay out only a small percentage of the take in.
let's put this another way say i wanted the number 328 to come out on

US House votes to kill Internet gambling

Last week Carruthers told Reuters he thought that a U.S. Republican-written, House of Representatives-approved bill to crack down on Internet gambling by banning banks and credit card companies from processing the payments was bound to fail due to the mountainous backlog of other U.S. legislation.
