Weekly Multi-State Raffle
Happy to see it's back. Buying a ticket or maybe more this upcoming Friday. PA conducts two raffles per year limited to 500,000 tickets. On an aside, from what I recall, PA did try selling 625,000 once, but had to resort to discounting tickets to sell out, and barely made it.
For players seeking $1 million, with similar odds of winning at that price-point, outside of the raffle, there's PA Quinto, and similar games in some other states, that pay $50,000 per dollar wagered. Playing $20 on the

NY Sweet Millions
It's gonna be interesting to see if Cash4Life takes off or not.
I mean, will it underperform like they said Sweet Million did? I'll be watching to see what happens with the new game. True, the prize pool is 55% compared to SM's 38%, but then tickets are 2 bucks a line too.
Right now, it's New Jersey and New York participating in C4L, with other states to be added . Well, maybe that's true and maybe it's not. You cant tell me that other states aren't gong to wait and see happens with ticket

Idaho Lottery's $1 million raffle almost sold out
The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle is 90 percent sold out, meaning there are about 25,000 of the $10 tickets still available.
As fewer and fewer Raffle tickets remain, the speed at which players are purchasing them is definitely increasing, said Jeff Anderson, the Idaho Lottery director, in a prepared statement. There may not be any left in the next day or two.
Only 250,000 tickets were available for purchase when the game began on October 31, representing a one in 250,000 chance at winning the

Lottery players anxiously waiting to see if they are now among the wealthy can check their tickets at Lottery Post's Florida Lottery Results page (www.lotterypost.com/results/fl).
With only 750,000 tickets available for the Firecracker Millionaire Raffle, Florida lottery ticket buyers had a better chance of winning a million dollars than with any other game

$85M sought for "defective" Virginia lottery tickets
To solve all this mucky muck about top prizes being gone they should operate like the raffle drawing.
Payout the lower tier prizes on a ticket. These will not have a raffle number on them.
All tickets that are not winners for a lower tier prize will have a scratch area for the raffle number. These are kept by the players until the end of the game.
After all scratchers are sold for that game they will have a raffle for the top prize(s).
Do not lose those raffle drawing tickets while w

Iowa Million Dollar Raffle Results Posted
I didn't make a news story for this, simply because I'm not exactly timely in posting the results. (They were drawn June 17th 11 days ago.)
It's nice to see a small state like Iowa (small in terms of player base) have a raffle with a $1 million top prize. Many smaller states go with a sub-$1million top prize, just to boost the quantity of lower-tier prizes.
I prefer having a big top prize and perhaps a bit fewer lower-tier prizes, mostly because the top prize is what motivates me to play.

DC Raffle Sales...Not Too Good!
Well, that's an interesting thought, but I think if you compare it to the chances of winning a similar prize in any other game, the odds would be best by playing the raffle. How about you compare buying 20 Powerball tickets to one $20 raffle ticket, and see which one has a better chance of winning a million dollars?
Or, how about you compare a $20 scratch game with a $20 raffle ticket, and tell me which one has better odds of winning a million bucks?
To say raffle games are an insult t

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
The Lottery hasn't updated the weekly Raffle sales data yet, but I bought a ticket this morning around 11:00, a week after the lottery's last update.
My ticket was 2775xx, and the lottery's last reported was 263272. 2775xx minus 263272 equals 14228. 14228 divided by 7 equals an average of 2032 tickets drawn per day this past week.
We're 89 days into the Raffle, so 2775xx divided by 89 equals 3118. 3118 times 122 (number of days in the Raffle) equals a potential total sales figure of 38
