What do you consider a successful system?
Lottery game odds and payouts are often structured in such a way that even if you do an great job of beating the odds, you still don't win big, or even possibly break even. Luck is still the largest determining factor of big wins, even with a good system.

Lotto South $8 million
Nothing. All of the secondary prizes are woefully small in comparison to the odds. If you're going to a large jackpot though, the odds are certainly much better with Lotto South than with PowerBall or Megamillions.

Side Stepping...
After the double triple 0's were drawn in MO the other night. I sent this e-mail. The woman totally side-stepped the second question all together. I'm not done yet though. I'm sending a reply to the answer she sent getting a little more specific. Last year we had ball drawn games. I am going to ask her how much ticket sales have dropped off on the Pick 3 game since July of last year. I will have to have them exclude the midday drawing since it didn't exist last year but I sure they would try to

July's new scratchers for TN
I've played all of them. No luck from them though. I've played 5 or 6 Big money and only won a ticket. The odds are killer. I liked the fact that we have a number matching game instead of fruits but the odds have to be better on the next one.

**New PB Game** - SSS
PB decided to have odds of winning the jackpot at 146 million to 1 because many people win small PB jackpots and sales are dropping. If the red PB had only 42, how many WB would it take in order to have odds of winning the jackpot is 176+ million to 1?

First MM JP Rollover too small?
I go to the California Web Site for Mega Millions to check on the odds of winning the MEGA Ball and odds of winning. CA had a lackluster sales drive in MM this time with $2 for 1/5+MB and $1 for 0/5+MB.

Powerball sales skid hurts lottery profits
I'm new to this, but the bigger jackpots got my attention. I prefer no jackpot winners and the impossible odds so I can sleep at night knowing it more than likely rolled over if I didn't win the big one.Now all we need is a merger with MM taking over PB for a super duper mega power billion $ jackpot at odds at least equal to the national population. Now that would be a lottery.BArry, still playing California'd SL and now MM!

Powerball sales skid hurts lottery profits
Impossible odds to impossible payouts? The lottery would have to have a payout around 80% for that kind of prize, and the jackpot would be the only prize. I take it you have no idea how lottery payouts work, or at least need to find yourself a odds calculator. Otherwise the king of the world might find himself bankrupt from being too generous with prizes.

Mega Millions matrix - Own picks or QP?
They should make the second prize a million bucks. Several state lotteries have odds roughly equal to that of MM's second prize and they pay out over a million dollars. I believe Md's pays over a million for the same odds.

S.C. Lottery officials continue to investigate drawing error
PS- I just found something that is somewhat horrifyingly truthful on the SCEL website.... If you look under the Add-A-Play feature of the site, scroll to the very bottom... you will see this:OVERALL ODDS: 1:4.54 Average odds of not winning are 1 in 1.2825 <------------------Why would they even think about putting something like this on there?!?!?!?
