Seven Albany state workers won $319 million lottery prize
Seven lucky New York state government workers earned some 'Capitol gains' when their office pool won a whopping $319 million jackpot in Friday night's drawing.
The big winners are information-technology pros who work in Homes and Community Renewal, said sources. The agency has been slammed with more than $30 million in budget cuts.
The brand-new millionaires hit it big with several Quick Pick tickets bought at Coulson's News Center, a century-old family-run convenience store in downtown Al

Win with Magic ( numbers and more)
Since this topic includes numbers, let me add this (posted as a thread a few days ago, better here):
Say you were born on September 22, 1978.
Sept. = 9, the 9th month
Reduce 22 to 4 ( 2 + 2)
1978 is 1 + 9 + 7 + 8 = 25, reduce to 7
So you can use 947 as a Pick 3.
9 + 4 + 7 = 20 which reduces to 2.
A Pick 4 would be 9472.
For other games you would use 9, 4, 7, 2, 22, 20, 25 or any of those added together.
Good Luck!

understanding odds of winning?
I inquired to the Georgia Lottery as to this matter, and this is the response that I recieved:
Thank you for contacting the Georgia Lottery Corporation (GLC).
The Georgia Lottery goes to great lengths to ensure the security and integrity
of every game. Game symbols and prize amounts are distributed randomly during
the printing process of instant tickets. All instant games are audited by an

Discarded tickets with only the serial number scratched.
CarHauler, I'm sorry, I don't remember what state you are in...is it GA or OH?
((EDIT: DOH! It is Georgia, I found that after scrutinizing your ticket)
Used to be in PA - before extra ~ security ~ measures were put into place, that you were able to scratch the ticket area and reveal the serial
