Maryland 3 deflated
127 is on my list for today just a feeling i have about it. i posted this number today as 721. The other posability is double 77 which sometimes happens when as number is out a long time. You can play 77X or X77 or but the pay out might not be worth the effort for some people.Front Pair (Odds: 1 in 100)12X12+ Any Number10 ways to win50 for 1$25$50Back Pair (Odds: 1 in 100)X23Any Number +2310 ways to win50 for 1$25$50

Mega Millions when CA joins
Quote: Originally posted by DoctorEw220 on February 9, 2005i know multi-state games like to change several things at a time, and the population of CA is really big, but i don't see a change until CA shows an effect on the game (they keep hitting the jackpot.).That's what I mean. I think it's unfair if they increase the odds when nothing has changed yet with the winning.Powerball has more states involved and the odds are 1 in 120,526,770.To the Mega Millions people: Don't make me open up a can of

Rolling cash 5 02-09-05
You will have chance tomorrow for $496,000. With odds of 1:435,897 of winning, there will be a lot of other players giving it a try too, so there may be more than one winner. This is the first time I can remember seeing a top prize more than the odds of winning it.Good luck to you both.RJOh

CALIFORNIA JOINS MEGA MILLIONS
The other matrix suggested is 5/71 + 1/17 which would be 1:221,338,450 odds. That is way too high in my opinion. The lower tier prizes would have to be very appealing to warrant odds like that.

Would you double the jackpot for $1?
I don't waste the first dollar on high odds games so I'd hardly throw a second buck into it.I voted other .The lower tier prizes are a ripoff anyway so doubling the payoffs on them still wouldn't make it worth it.Winning the jackpot in high odds games is like trying to break open a walnut with a spaghetti noodle. So if you use two spaghetti noodles it's not any easier. You'd be better off eating the noodles, cracking the walnut open with a nutcracker and at least you'd get some carbs and prot

My thoughts on MM when CA joins
When California joins in June or whenever, I feel lengthening the jackpot odds (along with better OVERALL odds) is the correct thing to do. We may see higher starting jackpots, a fixed (remember CA requires pari-mutuel prizes) $250,000 second prize; there may also be a new 2+0 category should the new version be 5/71 + 1/17. Trust me, a new version of Mega Millions would still be better than NY Lotto 6/59.

What are the best games to play..
i like the old Buckeye 5. for the odds, it paid out well. Mass Cash seems to pay out well for the odds, as does FL's Fantasy 5.

Mass. Lottery- My Way.
Quote: Originally posted by DoctorEw220 on February 1, 2005 Ca$h Winfall: Starting jackpot increased to $1 million. Jackpot cap increased to $4 million. Price reduced to $1.Now there's a game I would play. But if they did that they'd have to change the matrix to quadruple the odds (double the odds for double the jackpot, then double again for slashing the price). That would bring it to a 7/44 ideally.
