Fenty is withdrawing a controversial proposal to award a $120 million lottery contract to a start-up firm in a maneuver designed to prevent the agreement from dying in the D.C. Council. There's this one woman who sees me almost everyday, and still asks me if I want a plastic sleeve for my one betslip which only has 2 selections for the p-3. I'd say about 80 percent of the time when I go into any store, the clerk takes the slip from my hand and puts it into the machine without looking to see how many selections I have, and assumes I only played one bet.
