Winner Takes All Raffle
Idaho is going to start selling a new raffle in a week or so. Tickets are $20. Only one winner drawn, and they get half the take. The $10 raffle tickets have been struggling to sell 250K, so I assume the $20 ticket will be less popular. I would guess they'll sell 200K and the jackpot will be around 2 million. Would you buy a ticket? I'm using firefox so can't paste the rules here but if you want to know all the skinny go to idaholottery dot com and it's on the front page.

With MM you'd have a 1 in 195,235 chance of winning $250,000 vs a 1 in 125,000 chance of winning a full million. Only about 30,000 Florida Raffle tickets left!
I thought the Floridians here might want to know that their chance to get a raffle ticket is almost gone. According to the Florida Lottery, at the time I'm writing this, only 30,989 raffle tickets remain. Even if you're not a big fan of raffles, the odds of winning big bucks are so much better than most games you really want to sit this one out?
