Mega Millions 2004-03-05
Chief,Your odds of having a winning ticket without matching the bonus ball is 1:240, and reducing the white ball to 18 and having the five winning balls among them reduces those odds to 1:11 which would mean a winner almost every time you bought $12 worth of tickets. Do you think that is realistic?RJOh

Mega Millions was hit! back to 10M
Yes, I live in Ohio and with Ohio Super Lotto (odds=1:13,983,816) having a larger jackpot than MegaMillions(odds=1:135,145,920) , Ohio Super Lotto is looking good again and I'm playing it. The best I did today was 2 (3 of 6) free plays for $20. Will try again Saturday.RJOh

The odds of this lottery must be much higher than powerball but the fact is someone still will win it.So the odds we were talking about is not trully the measurement of telling the probability of the lottery

Best scratch game?

PB vs MM
Your odds of winning is a set number regardless of the number of players. If you are the only player and you don't have the winning numbers then you lose. The odds are that more players will produce more winners, but that old saying that playing numbers below 32 makes it more likely that a winner with those numbers will have to share the prize seems not to be true. I think any of the losers wouldn't have mind sharing a $230M prize.RJOh
