Increasing Odds of Winning..SOS
I believe you can improve your odds, but the percentage of improvement is minimal....take the first column number in megamillion, play numbers one through sdventeen and you have a 90 % chance of being right as my tracking sheet goes. now play numbers 39 through 52 on the fifth column and you have a 82% chance of being right on that column. Now try to work the first and last column into a winning combination and your odds of picking them both right is minimal....you have just improved your chanc

PA Cash 5
well, out of 75 lines, not ONE 3/6 (where the odds are 51:1)... I'm convinced the odds of ME winning is doubled...

Seeing patterns where none exist
No, your chances were still 1/1000. Going by what you say, your chances are 1/500 if it was an odd, and 1/1000 if it was even. If you want to calculate odds after the draw, I would say the odds were 0/1000, because you lost.

Seeing patterns where none exist
Lottery systems may serve a purpose. The odds that any single person will win is daunting. 120,000,000 is almost half the population of the USA. If you really sat down and thought about the odds you would probably stop buying lottery tickets. Even a false hope is better than no hope to some people.

'Hot Lotto'-revise it?
I've become increasing convinced that for MUSL Hot Lotto to attract more Powerball members (the HL game started in April 2002), there should be higher jackpot potential.I would consider the following:**Add four numbers in the first drum (to 43) but keep the number of Hot Balls at 19 (longer jackpot odds, but little change in OVERALL odds of winning);**no changes to lower tier prizes;**lengthen the annuity from 25 payments to 30.This presumably would allow a starting $1 million jackpot by $10

Something I found Interest Lotto Pro
The odds of any combination matching 2's or 3's in Powerball/Megamillions is 1:16/17 and 1:240/254. If you use 10 drawings, those odds are reduced by a factor of 10. Use 10 random combinations(5 of 52/53) from anywhere and you should get similar results.RJOh

Winning the Jackpot Prize
Everybody that played had just as much chance at winning as everybody else. Regardless of what numbers you have. If you won could you say it was luck. maybe. More likely if you won you had the numbers that the machine drew. Didn't win this time try again. Odds. Odds are somebody will win could it be you maybe. GOOD LUCK TO ALL

MUSL Hot Lotto
CASH,As far as I can tell the game is pretty successful since jackpots start at $200K and have rolled over to $2.1 Million (all CASH) after 9 drawings (between 02/25/03 and 03/28/03).The overall odds of winning a prize in TX Two Step are double that of Hot Lotto (1 in 32 vs. 1 in 16.09), but the lower payouts are better and the jackpot odds are way better. TX to join Powerball!
mmmm, when they said:*The House and Senate approved Texas joining Powerball through a revived measure late Sunday. *I took it to mean the game PB. NM LA already are PB states, TX would be stupid to go with MM. MM is going to die dventually anyway. why would they change the odds when TX joins? I hope they don't change the game as 1: 120 million odds suck enough. SHEESH!
