TX TTT from Midday 967
Texas players--just to share with you in case your intuition is pointing to all odd numbers coming in TX next. WinD sent me a couple of private messages saying that according to his findings the one due next between all evens and all odds will be all odds. So, use your own judgments and most of all only play what you can afford to lose.

42 Chances at Powerball $39
I agree with CASH Only. If you use the extra dollar to play powerplay your overall odds of having a winning ticket remains at 1:36, but you can double your winnings or better. However if you buy another ticket you odds of having a winning ticket changes to 1:18 and powerplay only counts if you win something.RJOh

win Win WIN The Powerball Jackpot Now!!
Buying more lotto south tickets makes sense in a way. The odds for winning in Lotto South is 1:13,983,816. Which is a lot better odds of powerball. 1:120,000,000. Who couldn't use 10 million bucks. I'll save a place for you at the rehab center.

Quick Picks versus Own Numbers
I also buy Quick Picks. I only play Mega Millions, and I usually buy 5 -10 quick picks depending on the Jackpot. I agree with Vision, if you are meant to win, then it will happen. There is no way to increase the odds besides buying more tickets and even then, the odds barely increase. It's all the luck of the draw.

It going to be a while before there are any indications either way because the odds of a free tickets is not as good as a $2 win with Megamillions. Probably a $10M+ jackpot attracts more players, because there are not many jackpots that size with odds under 1:15m.RJOh

George Sedertree Where are you?
Hey V-dude,How about going over to the Golf channel site and explain to the people at Taylormade and Titleist that there charging way too much for equipment for another game you can't beat. The money I spend compared to what I win playing golf makes the odds playing the lottery inviting. There's another place I love to go to where the odds are stacked against you , Las Vegas . Maybe if you've got a little free time you could work on these two little items.Things aren't always what they appear to

Saturday PB last before longer odds
I don't understand how the odds of winning with just the red Powerball have gotten better. It seems to me that if they were to eliminate a ball or two then it would make the odds better. The Match 5 bonus thing sounds cool.

3/6 in PA Super-6 paid only $1.50
Ohio is starting to offer a free quick-pick for players who match 3 of 6 in their SuperLottoPlus game, changing the odds of winning something from 1:451 to 1:54. With MegaMillions and PowerBall having odds of 1:40 of better of get $2 back with each play, players are losing interest in playing the state games.RJOh

lottery post member wins little lotto!!
To LottoCheatah,I see we were talking about different things. You were talking about the number of repeaters and I was talking about the odds of picking a repeater. In the 100 draws I posted above, 38 times using all five numbers from the previous drawings you would have one or more repeat numbers, for a total of 43 repeat numbers(your count). On the other hand, for the remaining 62(62%) of the drawings, if you did the same thing, you would have no repeat numbers at all, thus you see how I ca

I should add, the 1:3 odds only apply if you try 5 times and pick 5 numbers, If you just pick one number than the odds are 1:52 that will pick one of the winning numbers. Even I get confuse on the math.RJOh
