Michigan Challenge Day 11
Hey George,I'll bet with your knowledge and ability to calculate odds, you'd make a great craps player! I totally love playing craps, but one of my favorite ways -- betting against the roller -- requires the ability to quickly calculate odds and lay the correct bet.

JACKPOT WINNER IN MI!
Sandy: I'm guessing MICHIGAN Millions will be gone within six months. The names are too similar, and the odds of winning the $5 (smallest) prize are very long. Don't be surprised if a replacement game has BETTER jackpot odds, since there's no need for two mega-jackpot games within the same state.

Which is better ??
I have a lottery budget, and it's pretty small. I justbuy a single multi-draw ticket in a couple of differentlotteries, the theory being that one chance in a zillionis infinitely better odds than no chance at all. Inother words, I don't really play the odds. I'm just inthere because I have no chance at all if I don't play.

coming soon.. the big BIG game
I don't think anyone would play a game like that. The reason people play Big Game and Powerball is to win the jackpot. But at odds of 1 in 135 Million and 1 in 120 Million, people know that eventually someone will win. I don't think anyone would play a game with odds of 1 in 1000000000000 even if the jackpot was $1 Billion.

Back Online
Friends,The Dial-Up to DSL upgrade didn't pass the torch very well. I see that I predicted the 816 that fell straight. It took a few days but consider this. The 20/80 Matrix (8 Picks) has an overall odds of hitting a straight every 125 Draws. The straight hit came a few days after posting so I guess you could say my program beat the odds again. Here are my picks for Michigan:215-216-295-296-815-816-895-896Good Luck,..../George

Hey Visiondude, my main man.... :)
Sorry I jumped to the conclusions that you could pick a combination of six and if 2 or 3 of your six numbers matched, you won. Actually you can only pick combinations of 2's or 3's which change the odds completely. For example to match 3 of 42 with a combination of 3 the odds would be 1:11480 which is 10 times harder to match than a pick3 drawing for about the same payout.RJOh

Odds
Note:i wonder what the odds are of being eaten by a shark in the desert after being struck by lightning. probably lower than winning the mega millions. lol Would your odds increase or decrease if you had two sharks? lol

Odds
Dude you may want to lay off the peace pipe. 2 tickets do not reduce your odds to 1 in 500,000. Cause under that logic 3 tickets would make it 1 in 250,000, 4 would be 1 in 125,000 and so forth. Basically after 15 or 20 tickets bought your odds would be 1 in 1 according to your theory.
