5 days until Powerball comes to Pennsylvania
Actually, Powerball has longer jackpot odds; however, the 1-in-40 million odds of Super-6 (as a second-string game) are absurd. Plus, of course, the automatic quick-picks.

Why is Steve Player the only one with the COURAGE to post hi
Glenn,As you know, I don't have a Pick-5 or Pick-6 System yet. Even though I have the algorithms etc. commited to paper for these games. No attempt has been made to program them. Only by having the ability to back-test my system on the computer, could I say with any certainty that my system algorithms work. Will my Pick-5 and Pick-6 algorithms, once programmed, really work? The immediate answer would have to be yes. But at what cost?If you want a 60% assurance of winning (odds), then you will hav

How To Bet the Lotteries

Ohio 6/49 Lotto increases by just 2 million (11m-13m)
The players Ohio was trying to attract were the ones that headed out of state when the Biggame and Powerball had jackpots of 60M or more. Until MegaMillions have that size jackpot, the 649plus game is going to continue to do sell. I'm sure the MM game is going to have some big jackpots, but when MM's jackpot is 11M with odds of 1:175M and the 649+'s jackpot is 13M with odds of 1:14M, which one are you going to play? Even the cash-value looks better.RJOh

18 million if no winner
That's not according to the survey they ran on the MUSL website a month or two ago. They were gathering data on how people would react to a $2/play game with the same odds. Essentially doubling the odds per $1.

NY does okay
Mega Millions is a MUCH BETTER game than NY Lotto 6/59 because as I pointed out, the NY Lotto 6/59 returns ONLY 40% in prizes while Mega Millions pays back the usual 50%. Remember there are nine ways to win in Mega Millions. The odds of winning any prize in NY Lotto 6/59 per dollar is 1 in 46 with the minimum prize $1, while the odds of winning any prize in Mega Millions is 1 in 43; minimum prize $2.

Powerball news
The survey I saw asked if players would pay $2 for a ticket if the payouts and jackpot were doubled, thus the odds per play would stay the same but the odds per $1 spent would double.Jack
