I misstated something from the PAlottery website yesterday. I said the odds of getting a possibility of a $250 prize on a $1 bet was 15,000 to 1. The odds for that are actually 1,000 to 1. When you factor in the 15 possible numbers, that's where the 15,000 to 1 comes from. My questions about Scratchers
I was not a big fan of the scratchers until recently. I started playing at a couple high traffic retailers. One such place has 10 ticket vending machines, plus multiple rolls of many of the games behind the counter that the staff can fetch as they work any of the four terminals. It just seems like that kind of turnover might yield better results - nothing scientific, just a hunch. For instance hitting the front pair for my 5-39 is 1 in 58, ie, 00 to 57 vs a standard p-3 front pair 1 in 100 or 00 to 99. The odds for the first 3 is 1 in 558 vs P-3, 1 in 1000. Odds for first 4 is 1 in 5758 vs a p-4 1 in 10K. If we applied the rev-lexie the last 2 digits would have the same odds as the front pair, 1 in 58.
