Pick 3 Strategy (What number to avoid for the next draw)
Actually, I didn't include doubles because they have a way of popping up when you don't want them to. So, they need to be taken more seriously. Still, you can include them in the list. Btw, your analogies are really good. However, your basic strategy is flawed. So, let's see why this is. Example: 123 1 + 2 = 3 (Don't play 3 in the 1st position) 2 + 3 = 5 (Don't play 5 in the 3rd position) 1 + 3 = 4 (Don't play 4 in the 2nd position) P1: Odds of 3 coming out is 10:1

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
How are scratcher odds not true odds? I understand that that $500 winner isn't in each pack, but that's only because the packs are exponentially smaller then the required average sample size for the winner to be in. Unless I'm really misunderstanding here, they print the odds based upon how many of each winning ticket gets printed for each total print run of a particular scratch card game. I don't see any other way they can do it? If they print ten million tickets of

What are some ways to Increase my odds of winning the Powerball?
This. That's the most reliable way to improve one's odds of winning something. But at a high cost of entry. If doing this, consider adding Power Play for $1 more per ticket - adds $35 more, raising cost to $105, but improves the payback percentage somewhat. Another strategy is to buy multiple tickets and choose diverse numbers on them - have few, if any repeating numbers across tickets. That way, it's highly likely at least one ticket will win something. However, regardless of strategy for Po

Pick 3/4 Trade Secret. once read you must keep it a Secret
Great post, WinD. I'm with you on every point. If I can add to it though.... Pick a band of 20 non-doubles boxes, say, for the D3. What are the odds of the next play coming up with one of those numbers?... Odds are at play, in such a situation. Iffy odds. Change the question. What are the odds of a number from that pool coming up ever again?... Suddenly, odds are no longer at play. Because unless a meteor hits the Earth, or they outlaw the game tomorrow... 20 out of 120 boxes = 17%

Just "2 little questions" System*
You bet lotsofwins ! It's all odds and probabilities to me and most pro gamblers in all other games in the world. The pros stick to the odds as close as they can for most things. Anyone who gambles for a living lives, eats, and bets the odds. Anyone that's been hanging on and playing for a long ..long time at least. The HOUSE ....sure plays that way. They always know the odds and sure play that way. LOL Anyway you want it ....the trick is to be consistent.... if you combine fine ...a

Double your Double Odds Pleasure!
Is it time for another double? Really it doesn't matter. But, for the next time a double comes along .....which type double should we play? Odds wise.... what is the smart play ? Well, the answer is.... there is only a 38% chance any of the digits from the last double......will repeat in the NEXT double. Too bad for us in Ga. however.........the last 11 doubles in a row...MIDDAY .....have not repeated a digit from the last double. So, that bad odds 38% has to show some ti

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Looks like Cash King is slightly better than Maximum Fortune, but thats about it. Not in any hurry to play that ticket. I do like that theres a $30 winner. That makes me more inclined to buy that ticket considering that if I buy 3, I could at least win my money back. Slightly better odds to win $500 on Cash King than Maximum Fortune, but slightly worse odds to win $100. Much better chance of winning $1 million as well compared to Maximum Fortune. I like the odds on the $2 $25,000 Pa

Megamillions and Powerball Games
I will sometimes buy a ticket or two, just for fun, when the EV is less than 0.5, and may buy a few more on a drawing where it is between 0.5 and 0.8 - I regard the lottery as a fun way to pay taxes - and we play a little more seriously above that figure. It now requires MM to have something like 20 draws to approach that figure, 2 and 1/2 months. I believe that casinos generally have expectation values of around 0.9, although I don't go to them. This high expectation value probably feeds a f

Powerball Power Play Number Almost Always 2 ?
Ok, I have a question on the charts posted by JADELottery ... tell me if I am seeing or figuring these numbers and odds correctly. With PowerPlay it seems pretty clear ... there are a total of 10 numbers in the digital mix with only one 5 and one 4 ... three 3s and five 2s for a total of 10 numbers. Now with Megaplier ... there are a total of 15 numbers in the digital mix ... this is where I am getting mixed up or don't understand the odds. The number 5 has odds of 1 in 2.5 ... am I correc

Ohio: 2/1 - 2/28/2014
@Oh438 - the thing is ... if variance is the difference between what is to be expected and what actually occurs ... then with variance in mind , every number is to be expected which means we would be playing numbers based on a wish and a prayer... but the more testing, practice, and tracking pair, digits, patterns , etc .... one is able to predict certain events, whether its pairs, sums, digits, etc ... so what most of us do on a daily basis is use that knowledge and understanding of the game
