Just curious, but does anybody know...
Then somebody else does go out and buys the tickets, all quick picks, and wins absolutely nothing. So then the next time around (if the jackpot rolls over), they come back to me and my system.
Until someone in the group (or you) comes up with a better way to pick numbers besides quick picks then I think your system is just fine. It's a start anyway, and if you are winning more your way then their way, even if it's only $3.00, then HEY! More power to you! 3 bucks is better then nothing.

Capitalizing On Repeat Numbers
Hi Laverne. The following I cut and pasted from an earlier post in this thread. Where you list Combinations , are you getting these from Lucky's 1 Up 1 Down system and then deflating?
I thought I should show this in action. The backtesting proved to be fruitful everyday. I took the #s that appeared 2 or more times on May 21, 2007 used Lucky's Pick 3 one-up-one-down system. As far as doubles are concerned I say always play both #s. Here are the results except for AZ on May 22, 2007. May 21,

How to Beat Powerball: And drastically reduce the odds (theory)...
No, what I mean is, you develop a 'system' that you use on a consistent basis, but it still is up to luck for it to increase your odds. If you have a system that has gotten you several 3x5's and 4x5's, then it will take luck to get those 1 or 2 other numbers. Or pure guesswork, which leads to the next thought: is guesswork luck in itself ?
Your 'system' can be as basic as Not picking all the same numbers that hit in the last game, Not picking 1-2-3-4-5, Not picking ALL the longest shots o

I have another short reply from a fellow member over at the other site named Steve. He is extremely knowledgeable about this system and very happy to share his Information with all.
He sent me a step by step setup for another player, not in FL, that is very easy to fallow. I'm not going to put it on here till I figure out what I'm doing wrong while bring them over here. Its very long.

When you backtest systems..
Definitely agree. A system may very well work in one state, but not work in others. I've never figured out the why , but for some reason -- while one would think that a Pick 3 game is the same in all states, the games don't seem to act the same in all states. It's one of those little tricky things that make something look like what it isn't.....similar to the fact that you can take 20 combinations at random, call them predictions for all states and you are bound to hit something somewhere

do the lotteries have people researching systems and methods?
Most state lottery commissions have investigators similar to the Nevada Gaming Commission but their jobs are mostly to respond to instant scratch-off complaints. They also investigate incidents like the night there were over 50 winning Buckeye 5 tickets sold in Ohio. One player bought over 50 tickets on the same combination and the clerk didn't know there was a $1 million payoff limit. I don't know how much of the $1 million he got, but they did give $100,000 to the person with 1 winning ticket.

$75M Texas Lotto jackpot claimed by business partnership
I have better systems now than when I was 28. At that time I didn't bother much with regular numbers games like Pick-3 or Pick-4. I wanted only the big jackpot. Even though a lot of winners on jackpots are QP I STILL think that's because a lot more people PLAY QP but I wonder if there is a way to get some kind of statistics of how many people win with systems vs. QP vs. the overall field . If (rough example) 100 players are sampled playing the same # tickets each and 80 use QP and 20 picked the

After months of pounding numbers calcu.....
I think these posts underline two facts:
1. Number selection in any lottery is random. The machine doesn't know what the odds are or care that #1 has come up 150 times, compared to 45 times for #5. The little balls are agitated by a paddle in a drum. They all seek to escape, a condition that occurs a fixed number of times. The ball closest to the air shute or drop path wins.
There is no code. It's the way it works, and it has been working very well for many years. It might be different wi

tuff nut to crack
Well if you look around at some of the picks in the Cash 3 froum, you will see you are not alone. I came up with 089 for Friday evening, wasn't real strong on it, so I didn't go up or down. Saw others had picked it as well, naturally it came out 088.
It is not the commissioner, it is not the State of Georgia, it is called 999 to 1 odds. Take a few days break, look around and visit some folks blogs and websites. See how they predict, see how the numbers seem to be one off, the wins are not av

System using the total number
I've tracked sum totals for mega and match 5 for a while and the best advice i can give you is to wheel the numbers in the sum range you think might win. You might get lucky and pick the right numbers. many times i got 3 numbers out of 5 right but that was all.
The only if factor comes in to play after the draw. if only i had wheeled these numbers instead of those numbers etc. of if had did this instead of that.
The complex solution to picking the right numbers is the challenge all numbe
